This wa my third visit to this restaurant during the last 2 years. Great experience again: fresh and well prepared food, very attentive service, a bit pricey but worth it. We were a group of 8 people, we chose different items on the menu and everyone was satisfied. Personally, I had the lobster ravioli and it was excellent. Will certainly return.
First visit and definitely not the last. Bar Laitier Nonna has amazing toppings. I had the 70% cocoa dark chocolate. The rest had the pistachio dip. There are over 20 different dips and toppings for your ice cream! The ice cream seems to be dense, not the usual light air filled type. The staff is friendly. The place, including the washrooms, was very clean. Lots of tables and comfortable sofa chairs. Give it a try!
Beautiful little Portuguese family restaurant on the edge of the water in Lachine. Reception room, take-out menu, dining room, terrace. magnificent view of St. Louis Lake Accessible for wheelchairs. 3060 blv st-joseph, lachine qc h8s-2p4.
We stopped at the Casa Portugaise for lunch. The restaurant has lots of natural light and a partial view of Lac St Louis and the parkland along the river. The food is well prepared and the presentation is exceptional. Our server recommended the chourico, a Portuguese sausage, that is not to be missed. Soup of the day, chicken barley, was tasty and not over salted. Roast chicken entree was prepared with a mild Portuguese rub, very good. A totally satisfying dining experience and excellent value. Would definitely return.
