Breakfast and brunch, inspired by Quebec local products. All day, micro-roaster coffees, fine teas, pies, cakes and other "mignardises", to enjoy at the café or to go. Apero with local wines, private import wines and antipasti. In the cafe or on the terra
A wonderful dining experience in a charming and historic Inn. Had both breakfast and lunch here during a business visit in town and both were outstanding for both taste and presentation and the service was superb. Excellent value for the quality as well. The restaurant, while small, is very bright and clean and comfortable. I'll definitely stop here whenever I'm in the area. Brave! Limited days for public (Early week serves hotel guests only, at least off-season).

They have a very nice menu and great coffee. They roast their own beans. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is casual. They have a liquor license if you want a drink. Nice sandwiches and great eggs benedict served until 2 on the weekends.

I've stoped here for bagels a couple of times (fresh out of the wood-fired oven!). I always get a couple to go for the drive back to Vermont. Nice space, friendly baker, little outdoor porch right in the center of Sutton. I think they also make pizza and bagel sandwiches.

Our 2 families (4 adults and 4 teens) stayed at the Horizon Hotel for 4 nights during our ski trip at Sutton. This is a boutique hotel which was recently renovated. I have a separate review of the hotel, which we enjoyed very much. What impressed us most, however, is the great quality and value of the food at the bistro. The bistro/restaurant is an open area with large windows on 3 sides, hence giving great views of the surrounding scenery especially on a nice sunny day. The table and chairs are casual bistro style - not fancy, but comfy and practical. They serve complimentary continental breakfast here in the morning. In the evening, bistro-style is served - at surprisingly affordable price and great quality. We had one dinner there and a few of us ordered the special which is beef short ribs. For $19 you get 4 large pieces of roasted juicy ribs with fall-from-bone tender flavorful meat, plus a basket of crispy fries. We have never had such price and quality for short ribs in Toronto, or anywhere else! We also tried the braised pig cheeks which was also very good. They don't have too many waiters but it surprised us that those working were so efficient, courteous and professional. They never missed a bit. When we ordered, our waiter was kind enough to remind us that we ordered too much (since we have younger teens in our group). So we reduced our order and found we still had enough food! When we got the bill, the price was half of what we paid the night before - at a restaurant across the street! The only thing they can improve will likely be the wine selection - which currently seems a bit limited. We did not order beer therefore were not sure about the beer selection. I hope they will continue to expand because we definitely would come back and stay here again!Thank you very much for sharing your nice comments on our restaurant, we are very happy that you enjoyed your stay and our menu and services. We worked on our wine selection this year so we hope to see you back this winter to discover and taste our new selection.
