On Thanksgiving Monday we were going to TuttiFrutti for breakfast because our grandchildren love their chocolate crepes. You can imagine our surprise when we found out that the place was now Au Petit Chalet. Much to the displeasure of the young ones, we decided to give the place a try... Excellent, excellent choice. One of our grandchildren summed it up nicely...This is like a cabane à sucre(sugar shack)...plenty of homemade food, maple syrup (more needed) good pancakes and crepes, beans .. copious portions,great choices served up with a smile. The young folk have voted:This is definitely a keeper and they want to go back when they visit QC.

So so good! Food is exceptional! We recommend this place to everyone. It is a new urbain way to serve Tapas. My only negative comment is when you take the degustation menu for 4, they donât bother preparing the portions for 4. You have to take care of splitting the portion yourself......if only they would give you the tools to do so. A Pogo is not easy to cut in 4. Hopefully they will change that aspect soon

We happened upon this restaurant while scouting out locals eateries that are 'different'. What an amazing find! We stopped by for lunch and they had a nice little lunch selection. The restaurant is upscale and modern with lots of different levels so you don't get the impression you are dining in a warehouse! If however you aren't able to move up and down stairs there seems to be plenty of seating on the main floor. The service was excellent and professional. Our waiter, Benjamin, was attentive and very savvy in the wine department! I had the tuna tartare which was excellent and my hubby had fish and chips which was also excellent. The food is good quality that is perfectly seasoned with a nice presentation. They also have an interesting wine list! I would recommend this restaurant to any one who wants to step outside the 'ordinary' and feel 'special'!Thank you very much for your kind words. Looking forward to seeing you again
