I visited Kanda Sushi at Rosmere at many instances. I really like this palce for its simplicity, price and general atmosphere. There are definitely ups and downs to the place, here's my experience went.1- LocationThe restaurant is located on the Curé Labelle boulevard leading towards Rosemere, within somewhat of an old shopping center. The place can be of course accessed on foot for all guests who live nearby but definitly need a car for those who live a little bit farther. While there are a train station in Rosemere, it is not close to the restaurant and you are probably better off taking a car to get there. The good thing is that there is a huge parking lot in front of it and you will not have any issues parking your car at a fairly close distance from the restaurant's entrance, avoiding you long walks in the cold winter days/evenings.The shopping center where the restaurant is located is not much of a huge center (not comparable to Carrefour) but has a couple of discount shoe store and a huge 24 hours fitness center. So you can either come by and shop for as bit or exercise before and after your visit. It is also worth noting that the place is very near the "Finlandais" spa, one of teh best massage and relax parlors in Laval. As le Finlandais has a hotel annexed to it, Kanda might be a great sushi option if you are in the mood for some Japanese food at a 5 minutes drive from your accomodation. It is also a great option for those who are just visiting teh spa to pick up some nice sushi afetr a relaxation session.2- The place itselfThe restaurant does not have the newest setup or if it does it looks kinda old due to the imposing dark brown wood that the furniture is made of. The place is yer very big with multiple tables that can accomodate parties of various sizes. Some tables have only chairs, some others have benches and some provide a combination of both. So you can actually relax regardless what type of seating you choose. I personaly like the tables who are on the window. They are predominantly bench tables but give on the parking lot. While it is not the most beautiful view but the window is quite large and provides this feel of openess and of course a beautiful scene during winter days when snow starts falling. The size of the indoor seating area allows a nice distant distribution of the various tables, so as a guest you can enjoy your food and conversation with complete privacy. The kitchen is partly located in teh middle of teh place, you can actually see it as soon as you enter the restauarnt and it is open in front of all guests regardless of where you sit in the restaurant.I personaly never looked at how my food is being prepared but i know there are a lot of people who like to observe and as such this place provides this opportunity if you are into that. 3- The menu itselfWell it is an all you can eat sushi so the menu is standard and you will find eveyrthing undder teh sushi umbrella on it. There are around 120 different individual items on there that you can choose from. Not all those items are individual pieces so some of them are bundles that come in 3 or 4 or even 6 pieces. The menu also covers some meat, pork and chicken item like the Teriyaki or the dumblings... One should not forget that you can also order the desert which is ice cream (in three flavors - Green tea, red beans or mango - and they are really delicious) or their hot tea Strangely the menu is the same one as in most all you can eat sushi places across Montreal, for example it is the same exact one as the one you find at Sushi Crescent or Sushi St. Denis and others.I recommend this place for your usual Sushi outing. It is not a place to have a classy business lunch or to take someone on a first date but it is definitly you destination for a nice cozy sushi bite in a nice warm atmosphere. I recommend this place***Please like this review iof you find it helpful***

Well,if you want to eat your supper at 7:00 pm...maybe you should order it at lunchtime...ok,so this resto Ste Therese is always packed..is it because of the food or is it only because it's a bring your own wine...or is it the low prices...well...it must be the prices and the byow...because the food is really ordinary..no bangs or whistles...and the service is so slooowwww....i have been here several times in the past 20 years and every time and say..it's the last time..but the prices and byow makes me come back..but i think now that the lower laurentians have other choices in asian and sushi restos,it was my last time.Wake me up when my food gets here....

We just recently moved to Rosemere and we are trying out different places. We ordered from Mito and what a massive disappointment. Quite possibly one of the worst Sushi places i've tried. Lacked flavour, creativity. Pieces were all different sizes and barely any fish. Would not recommend this place.

Took a wrong turn off the highway looking to find restaurants. The vote was for sushi and, not knowing the area, we relied heavily on Trip Advisor and our GPS. Found this little restaurant. The menu was easier to decipher than we thought. Delicious sushi.

We like this place, it is affordable and give a good meal for the price.Their sushi are just amazing, the tune tataki is a must, their dumpling are good.Be aware that on Friday and Saturday as it get busy, service can be a bit slow, but it is worth the waiting
Sashimi & specialty rolls are offered in a cozy ambiance. Bring-your-own wine restaurant .

I have been at this restaurant on numerous occasions. It's a bring your own wine which is always economical. I hace never been dissapointed with meals eaten at the restaurant. Their sushi pizzas are reaaaallly good. Service is quick and courteous.the only times I have felt that the sushis were sub par were with takeout. Which is unfortunate. It has not kept me frkm going back to eat there however. I recommend it if you are at the Faubourg Boisbriand for shopping or a nice dinner out.
