In a sparkling universe entirely dedicated, in sense and spirit, to the oceans and their treasures, we invite you to indulge with us in some moments of joy. Dans un univers chatoyant, dedie, tant par les sens que par l'esprit, a la mer et a ses condi
A wonderful experience, all around. The facade is deceptively unimaginative, since all the food inside is creative and beautifully presented. The menu changes frequently, but the selections are modest each night-- maybe five possible starters, and five main dishes. Half fish and seafood; half from the land. Vegetarian options also available. Nice wine options, as well as some not listed but recommended by the waiter. The desserts are scrumptious (again, a selection of about five). I had octopus as a starter, and the black linguine with seafood as a main. Portions are just right--you won't waste any of it, and yet will be quite satisfied. The service is personable and attentive, without hovering, and the food is prepared promptly but without any sense of hurrying you along. The place is busy! The interior is warm; the food preparation is visible. There is a taxi stand across the street.

explore our extensive culinary master piece of a menu at Maison Boulud. Located inside the Ritz-Carlton, Montreal, our restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner with a weekend brunch.
As part of our Seabourn pre-cruise extension, we were exceedingly fortunate to be staying at this lovely property where we could enjoy breakfasts here at the Maison Boulud. We chose the self-serve buffet rather than order off the menu. The options were exceptional and everything was perfection. One day was great, another day greeted us with a thunderous rainstorm that even the ducks avoided (they are in the park area, right outside the dining venue, hiding in their little house).Could we have been happier? I think not. This set the pace for the rest of the day and it was all up-hill from here on.

Amazing experience at Joe BeefThis place does not disappoint. Food was some of the best Iâve ever had and weâve been fortunate enough to dine all over the world. Our sever Leo brought us amazing plate after amazing plate. Leo also recommended wines that paired perfectly with our meal and did a fantastic job of being just present enough but not over bearing. The support staff should also not go unnoticed, the busser worked tirelessly to ensure our experience was what it was. Thank you to Luca for doing a fantastic job of making sure the night ran as smoothly as it did. 10/10 joe beef, thank you for everything.

Fabulous and imaginative food that was divinely delicious with good portion sizes. Over and above service, knowledgeable and well-informed wait staff. Wonderful sommelier whose recommendations paired perfectly with the food. All in all a great dining experience and we will definitely return on our next visit to Montréal.

What a pleasant surprise to experience this Taverne in central Montreal. The location is convenient for the downtown core. The size is large and spacious. The decor is a wonderful old style with tiled floor, mirrors, wood, high ceilings, and old restaurant antique touches. There is a nice energy and it is bright enough to be welcoming and open. The Menu is more bistro-like with and 'meals' rather than just burgers, pizzas, fries, etc. I loved the braised pork back, with corn bread, cheese sauce and Brussels sprouts. Service was very good, with fully bilingual staff. Value was good. Recommended for sure, and a little on the unique side so worth consideration

Often hotel restaurants serve up average food in order to cater for all tastes. Renoir seems to have mastered this with providing some interesting and innovative dishes with a slight dominance by the French influences of this city. Scallops with corn was a delicious entree as was the farm foie gras terrine while a main of sea bass with clams indicated the influece of a creative and thoughtful chef. Entree around $25 and mains $30-45 were reasonable prices given the location, presentation and ingredients.Bonjour Rainman37,We very much appreciate your comments regarding your experience at Renoir. It is always a pleasure to receive positive feedback. I will share your comments with our team. I am sure that this feedback will serve as an encouragement to all of our staff as we strive to continuously improve the quality of our services.Thank you again for sharing your experience, and we hope your next visit will be as pleasant as the previous one.Sincerely,Olivier Perret,Executive Chef

Let yourself be inspired by a unique and fun environment. Nice service, nice food, nice place, nice dessert, nice bread, nice atmosphere.
We took the 11 dishes degustation menu and left disappointed.Lots of theatric, very nice and original presentation. But where are the flavors? Surprisingly most dishes were rather bland and taste not at fine dining level.Food definitely LOOKS nice but with bland TASTE which makes the experience not that enjoyable, despite all the gimmicks: headset during dessert, video before the oyster, etc.It is quite a big restaurant and apparently very successful. We are used to fine dining and this was one of the most disappointing. As far as food taste is concerned, not even worth one Michelin star.Service was fine. Wine list diverse at all price range. Please do less on the theatric and focus on the flavors.

Seaside cottage charm and bustling oyster counter. Sexy Old World wines, and crazy fresh market food. A great club house feel. Perfect for gin-tonic fueled evenings with relatives, friends, lovers and/or Peter Hoffer (aka "The HOFF"). Tout les charmes de
Four of us booked a reservation here as we could not get into Joe Beef which is owned by the same chefs. I love the casual nature of the restaurant and the servers who are super knowledgeable. Our server helped us chose wine to pair with our meal. The portions here are huge, my biggest suggestion, if you go here, order two apps and one main meal as they are huge. Saves a little room for dessert by doing this. I had the fowl and wow..........blow me away. My hubby had the pork chop which was elephant size and my friend had the trout - which was enough for two.
