Although we enjoyed fantastic service in this small but intimate restaurant, the quality was subpar for a QC dining restaurant. Our steak was definitely from a frozen source and the shoestring frozen fries matched. It was a bit disappointing considering all the fresh restaurants nearby.

The magic of the Petit-Champlain district adds to the charm of the Lapin Sauté. By day, this pedestrian street comes alive with the sounds of chatter. By night, the lighting makes shadows dance on the walls of the street's historic houses. Dining at the L

Decided to stop in without a reservation. The host got us a great table. So far so good. Things turned down from there. Took forever for the waiter to acknowledge our presence. Not the end of the world. He was busy and the place seemed mostly crowded. The bad part happened when it took 1 hour 20 minutes (!) for entrees to show up after ordering. The place had thinned out a bit so the delay was hard to understand. They blamed on it a "big party" downstairs. I'm guessing someone screwed up. The food itself was OK, not great. I eventually had to head to the host station to pay the bill myself since the waiter had gone MIA. I think this place means well, but their execution was terrible. I rarely leave bad reviews, but this place deserved it. Wildly overrated on Tripadvisor with the other options available in QC. You're better off taking your dining someplace else.Bonjour,I will not argue with you about what you write about us. Some people like you don't understand that sometime things can get out of control, that people can make mistakes or forget about thing. we are beeing human and trying our best. you came without a reservation, we squeeze you in but the what you cannot see is that this night our three floor were full. Usually you are using only two but this night there was a special party on the third floor. Maybe our mistake was to try to accommodate you. Our job is not so easy, Because this summer your had to refuse people in because we were too busy, but they saw a few table available and did write a bad review because we refused to accomodate them. at the door, you people make our decision hard to make.hope you did enjoy your stay in québec.Stéphane Roth, owner.

If these stone walls could talk... These unwavering witnesses to the past would undoubtedly have delicious stories to tell. As they are not very talkative, they left a few clues behind. The tea tins, wooden boxes, old bottles and rice bags from another er
We loved this restaurant, from the super friendly and helpful servers and host, to the varied and interesting food options that were being served. We had a member of our party allergic to shellfish and poulty, and another who is vegan, and the restaurant was very solicitous helping us get food that met our needs. The onion and pea soup was a particular favorite, as as the salmon, the pork flank, and the shepherdâs pie. This is a second visit for some of us, and we highly recommend it for its combination of traditional and very modern, healthy food. Thank you so much! The fact that you simply took the time to write a review for us is much appreciated. We are always ready to go the extra mile in order to accomodate each and everyone of our customers so that they can enjoy their experience as much as everyone else. We would do so for your friends for all of your visits, so whenever you are in the area again, do not hesitate to come visit us!

Total EnjoymentIn the gourmet world of Le Continental, traditional cuisine is classical. Enjoy the perfect service, the great flambéed dishes that pay tribute to the delicious French cuisine. The Continental's wine cellar is most impressive with its board
We aimed for the flammable dishes, no disappointment on those. Display and taste were all fatalistic. Service are also good, clear explanation for each dishes. No worry for car parking, as they have the parking services.

Quaintly situated in the heart of Old Levis, l'Intimiste is a sure-fire gourmet stop for anyone visiting the South shore. As suggested by its name, this reputable restaurant offers refined cuisine and service in a cozy and intimate atmosphere. The well-ba
While staying in Levis for the first time (at highly recommended Le Plumard) we originally were planning a nice meal across the water in Quebec City. This time we we very happy to give the local neighborhood a look and we found LâIntimiste. Old Town Levis is not very big to draw much attention but this restaurant is a standout that deserves to be on foodies list when looking for freshness and value when visiting Quebec City. I hesistantly ordered an entree of fried calimari having long given up on how most restaurants serve this plate. Not only was this calimari super fresh but it had just the right lightness in the batter and absolutely yummy lemon- spicy yogurt based dip much better than mayonnaise based dips typical of pub food. I can honestly say this was the best I have ever tasted of this old favorite. It out-classed my main plate of linguini carbonara which was also good but a little too thick on the cream for my taste. My wifeâs Thai salad also was a cut above in the ingrediants and flavor compared to what you might find in franchise restaurants. The intimate ambiance well suits the restaurantâs name and the very reasonable price makes for an even more enjoyable night. If you are new to Quebec City, there are better and much more expensive restaurants that might top your list but if you are looking for a relaxed and very pleasant escape for good food and at a reasonable cost then hop the ferry and make your way to LâIntimiste in Levis.

Just 3 minutes from the Château Frontenac, in the heart of the Old-Port of Québec, you'll discover gourment cuisine worthy of the greatest tables in the world. Member of Grand Chef Relais & Châteaux, 5 diamonds AAA/CAA, Gault & Millau.
Splurged for a special occasion and was not disappointed. My wife and I have eaten in many restaurants and are somewhat picky. Service and food combined to deliver one of our best restaurant experiences ever!Service was impeccable but not hovering. Food was imaginative, artistic and simply delicious. We asked for one menu change and a pork element was replaced by lobster in a seamless and, again, delicious fashion. A new standard has been set against which our future meals will all be gauged!

We found this restaurant on trip advisor and decided to give it a try. We were greeted warmly and even without reservations, we were seated quickly. This is a small place but decorated nicely. Our waiter suggested a Chefâs Surprise so we ordered that. We had no idea what we would be getting. An appetizer, meal and dessert were fabulous. Smoked salmon, duck breast and creme brûlée were all prepared to perfection. We all had different meals and all were amazing. You will not be disappointed.

Went to dinner at the restaurant with two colleagues from work. The moment I entered, I loved the atmosphere and it reminded me of some restaurants is Paris. The food is excellent and service as well. I had the salmon tartare and it was very nice. It has a beautiful terrace on a pedestrian street. One of the best French restaurant in Old Quebec.

A gourmet tavern and wine bar in Quebec City's Old Port! Chef Nikolas Couture and his passionate team welcome you in a warm ambiance, offering quality flavourful cuisine, attentive service and a great selection of wines, cocktails, spirits and beers. Desi
This was a perfect choice for a damp, rainy night. The atmosphere was warm and the staff were as well. Our food was delicious. Right now I remember the fries (chips, whatever you call them.) They were perfectly done to accompany our meal. They did the little things well and the big things were excellent. We never felt rushed. Enjoyed our conversation and our meal.
