The best poutine we ate in Quebec. We got a small deluxe and were not disappointed. There is also mini putt in the back but you have to try the food.

A busy place, little conflict over reservation time, but eventually worked fine.Service was uneven, in terms of multiple servers, but the senior person was prompt and efficient. It is a good eatery, not cheap but generous portions. Fish was excellent.

I visited La Porte Arrière for a business lunch and I must say that the restaurant serves top quality food at a reasonable price. Not the cheapest lunch in town but probably the best.

It was good. The park in the back of the building is a really nice touch and a great place to eat your treats. Try the maple sundae! Yummy.

Had dinner tonight with business colleagues and was quite pleasant. I started with a Cesar salad which included bacon bits for extra flavor. I had the house rotisserie chicken breast with fries and gravy. The chicken was very moist and tender with a nice brown skin. A good selection of beer and wine options were available. A nice place for good quality comfort food.

Located in Best Western's Plus Hôtel Leveque, La Griffe certainly adds a touch of class to this already unique Best Western Property. The stylish dining room emanates a serenity that just begs you to step in to enjoy a relaxing evening, or a late breakfast, for that matter. The extensive and appealing menu offers something for all tastes and we made sure to stop in again on the way back home. The Pork tenderloin with cranberry sauce and the Duck leg confit with gratin dauphinois were very good. So were the Mussels and French fries with a savoury poulette sauce; a nice change of pace. The Salad Nicoise wasn't quite what I expected. Mind you, the tuna was good, fresh and nicely presented, the eggs perfectly done, but the the salad as a whole, with a small and very lonely anchovy and far too many chopped olives, lacked that distinctive flavor and seasoning I was hoping for. Good choices of wine by the glass. Both the dining room and sun-drenched terrace have a nice view of the St. Lawrence River. The service was well paced, attentive and courteous. Re-setting the tables was done with such discretion and ease that no-one seemed to even notice. A tip of the hat to the servers for their professionalism. By the way, if you stay at the hotel, make sure to have breakfast here, if only for the delicious, homemade strawberry jam. On my way to New Brunswick, I stopped for one night at the Auberge with the intent to go back to the Auberge's restaurant, L'Espadon. I bought the meal package that include dinner, next day breakfast and tips. The restaurant still provide an excellent menu (table d'hôte) and service is impeccable. As for the room, renovated and clean. The only draw back, the walls are paper thin.

Driving through Rivière-du-Loup, we stoped at LâEstaminet for an early supper. It was a great experience. Valerie greeted us and we sat inside but could have sat outside also.We shared a $5 Blonde beer and ordered our food. They have French or English menus available. I chose a spaghetti meal with mushrooms, meat, peppers, onions and pepperoni. It was delicious and filling. I have decided to begin adding pepperoni to my home pasta. My wife chose âLe Chevreauâ hamburger with goat cheese and served with fresh fries and salad. She said it was delicious and with a large portion.Great atmosphere and music, I found the bathroom rather small but clean.Yes, we will return.Thank you so much Have a good vacationSee you soon

For over 30 years the Restaurant Le Saint-Patrice offers a fine Italian and local cuisine to customers from all around the world. The ambiance is trendy and the service is friendly and always professional. It is a great stop when you come in Riviere-du-Lo
You might be confused with our 4-Star rating and the title. We visited for dinner on the recommendation of a friend. The food was excellent, the service . . . not so much.We were seated promptly indoors and our drink (bottle of wine) and food order were taken by our initial server. Our wine arrived but there was a noticeable delay in receiving our appetizers. We then noticed our initial server was serving the patio and didn't see our new server for some time. She seemed to be the only server in our part of the restaurant. Our main courses arrived and were delicious however no one checked in to see if we required anything further. After waiting a considerable time for our bill we finally caught the attention of the greeter who had our server bring us the bill.I'm assuming there was a staffing shortage as the couple next to us who arrived after we did, canceled their entree orders after the husband ate his appetizer. Their entrees simply did not arrive in a timely fashion.Very unfortunate the service was not up to par as the food was excellent!Thank you for your comment. Some days, we are effectively understaffed. And we are doing everything possible to satisfy our clientele. All regions of Quebec have the same problem. We are delighted that you enjoyed your meal. Cordially.

My wife and I visited Cafe LâInnocent for dinner on a Saturday. We arrived a little after 6pm and had no trouble getting a booth. This has the feel of a local gathering place as several larger (5-8) groups came in after us, many of whom seemed to know the staff. Our server quickly recognized we were not fluent in French and she switched to English. I order the lamb with fried rice and salad and my wife had a veal burger with fries and salad. We shared an order of poutine with pulled pork. I had a local blond beer and my wife had a local cola flavoured with maple syrup. The food was excellent and portions were very generous! Our eyes were definitely bigger than our stomachs as neither of us finished our dinners or the poutine. We gave it our best effort though and left very satisfied. I would highly recommend Cafe LâInnocent.Hey! Thanks a lot for your beautiful comment! Happy to see that you enjoy our place! Hope to see you again
