The food was hot and well prepared average "fast food" from Boston Pizza. I arrived from Montreal and had booked myself into the Comfort Inn, on the main strip. This restaurant is attached to the hotel. My waitress, Julie, who was bilingual, was very friendly and efficient. There were a lot of waitresses around but the kitchen seemed to be on slow mode. The restaurant is very cozy, on two floors, with a wonderful outdoor terrace.The menu is pretty standard for the Cage aux Sports. I ordered a Richard's Red ($6.99 for 18 oz). I started with 8 pretty standard chicken wings ($9.59 for 8 or $16.69 for 16). They arrived piping hot, in a basket with some dipping sauce. They were pretty small and lacked seasoning/flavour.Next, I ordered the 1/2 rack of ribs ($15.99) which came with a wonderful Greek salad. The ribs were also pretty bland. They definitely missed the mark. The full rack goes for $23.99. They were soft and arrived hot but definitely could have used some sort of sauce!! Management should take the time to sample/review what some of the other restaurants are offering.This restaurant opens at 6 a.m to serve breakfast.

When we got there for breakfast, the place was packed and I was sayin to myself that it might be a long wait...20 minutes after we ordered we got our food. I chose the breakfast pizza....It was freshly baked and very tasty....I would definitely order that again. My dad had a 2 egg breakfast properly cooked, coffee was hot and the menu was reasonably priced.

I've no idea where they have gained the photo used here, but that's not this restaurant.You order fast food style from the counter - and it gets delivered to your table on paper plates ... why paper plates? I've no idea.Poutine with smoked meat was average, club sandwich same, coffee pretty bad. Diner food.Breakfast was finished by 11am.

Best place in town for fried chicken beats KFC hand down very good meat sauce for pasta, great pizza too service is fast and very friendly i usualy got there once a week.

This is actually a bakery combined with a lovely café. It is great for breakfast - sticky buns (not too gooey), croissants, breads, and other goodies; and good coffee, the smells that emanates from the kitchen add to the enjoyment. They also have a very good choice of other healthy foods for lunch. It is a walking distance from the place where the theatre festival holds their morning talks (meetings with the artists).Hello Ilania,I want to thank you for your comment about our Café. à chacune de mes visites à Mont-Laurier, je ne manque jamais de me rendre à ce sympathique resto. J'en suis à ma quatrième visite. Une ambiance agréable mais surtout des repas délicieux à chaque fois, créés par la charmante cheffe Hélène. Ses plats sont inventifs et généreux et les produits du terroir sont présents partout au menu. Je le recommande fortement; il s'agit d'un resto d'exception à Mont-Laurier. Vous aurez envie d'y revenir.

Tasted eight beers in seasonal sampler and decided we should have picked the classic. Were not fond of ginger, raspberry, carrot or peach beers. Food was great. Nice patio but noisy from all the trucks on the main road.

Our smoked meat sandwich lunch was excellent, as always! Everything is fresh and served at exactly the right temperature. Service is prompt and friendly. They offer a variety of other meals- burgers, fish & chips, chicken, steak etc etc. There is lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Very good value for money.

Crew was nice enough to let us in near close time to sit and eat. Ceasar salad was a little overdressed and then covered in mozz and bacon, clearly a re-use of pizza toppings...not so unexpected, but also was overkill and muddled what was a surprisingly fresh bed of romaine.Pie was traditional. Crust had a good, hearty wheat quality, and appeared to be homemade.Sauce was a star, slightly spicy with good tang.
