We biked to Janick to have lunch on thier terrasse facing the Richelieu River. When we arrived, waitresses walked by us as we were waiting for a seat without even acknowledging our presence. When someone finally did come to seat us, it was not in the friendliest manner, hardly even a smile. The waitress showed up a few minutes later and put two glasses of water on the table, we were three people. She later returned with another glass and walked away without saying a word. When she did come back to take our order, she was pleasant, but not really cheerful. The restaurant was busy, but I felt that just a smile can make all the difference in helping us to have patients. A kind explanation that they are short staffed, something. It is too bad, because the food was very good, but the service ruined it. The girls are Young and pretty, but they need to learn a thing or two about service with a smile!!

This is a family ran little place and I have to admit we love the food here , it is fresh and tasty . We eat here at least twice a week and the people who own the place always make it a point to say hi and ask how your doing. Service is excellent , food is great...All in all if you have a chance to stop in you will for sure be going back....

On Saturdays, kids under 12 eat free. This is to compete against another breakfast restaurant in the region that has has a lot of customer volume in Saturdays. The food was fresh and warm. I am a major coffee drinker and would state that their coffee "Neocafe" is poor. The staff is very courteous and the atmosphere is nice. This restaurant is a little less noisy than comparable breakfast-type restaurants in the region. Note that this restaurant used to be a "Chez Cora". I believe that the restaurant has not lost any if it's appeal since the change this year.

We last ate there some years ago but had lunch with 3 other couples recently. The alfresco dining experience was delightful....the food was well presented and well prepared and all 8 of us were more than satisfied with our different plates. Service was acceptable despite the large Sunday crowd that day. The seating on the three levels of the outdoor patios was comfortable and very pleasant next to the beautiful Richelieu river.

My wife and I and several friends had dinner at le Barabouf in February 2018 and it was an excellent experience. The food is essentially French cuisine and it varies from veal dishes to seafood. The portions are enormous so check with your waiter/waitress before ordering. Desserts are scrumptious and many are made on the spot. You have to reserve quite a while in advance to get a table at le Barabouf, so be warned!

Yes a nice discovery in Beloeil, a nice well decorated small restaurant with one if the best wine list I have ever seen, An impeccable service and with a very well presented, talented and delicious âmenu decouverteâ its was a really good experience. Also you can visit the wine cave downstairs which is awesome! Definitely a first class restaurant , an amazing experience in all sense! Highly recommended!

My friends and I tried Markina for dessert, and everything we had was beyond our expectations. I strongly recommend ordering a hot chocolate. You put yourself a chocolate sphere in some milk, and the chocolate will melt to combine with the milk! Yummy! I also had a Raspberry Square (like a Date Square but with raspberries in it) and I loved it!
