Come savor a savory meal at Auberge Baker Restaurant. Come sit on their terrace beneath the sun. They are open late all week and are easily accessible by car. You can pay by American Express, cheque, gift certificates, Interac, MasterCard and Visa.
We both ordered the mushroom ravioli. They were very hard and extremely chewy. My husband had lots of sauce for his, but mine was practically nothing. The mushroom filling was dry. Honestly, for me, everything was bad from beginning to end. Even the crème brulee was more like pudding than firm. We were very disappointed as so many people raved about this restaurant. The service was good and the restaurant interior was lovely, but the food was not properly prepared or served. We stayed in the guest house, which was also a bad experience. We wanted so much to love Auberge Baker, but did not.NangwynnThank you for your advice. It will help us to be better. I will for sure speak of your experience to the chef and we will take care. We went to visit the Basilica of Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré. My "silly" husband asked the priest to recommend a restaurant since he said a priest will not lie!. The service is excellent. Although I cannot speak French, I must say that the attendants at the restaurant was very courteous and tried their very best to be of assistance to us.

We have been to his lovely little restaurant twice. Our first experience was only OK, not great. This was principally because neither of us thought the food was very good and the service was too slow for us. So we decided not to return. Two years later we decided to give it a try again, because it is such a lovely spot and perhaps the food and service was now better. Unfortunately that was not the case the main course was still only OK and the patisserie dessert was stale for all four of us. The service had gotten worse due to some problem in the kitchen, it seems. The wait staff were available and attentive, it just took forever for the food to come out. We were there for an hour before the appetizers hit the table. We noticed other tables also commenting on how long it was taking. There are a few very nice places to eat in the area, so you might want to try them before this one.

Whether for breakfast, a business lunch or sharing a meal with friends, Restaurant L'Expérience is the preferred choice for a memorable dining experience. Enjoy our delicious homemade dishes, from appetizers to desserts. Our head chef Gaétan Tremblay, wit
We decided to give it a try since it came recommended from the front desk lady at Mont St Anne. She was right! Everything we had was really good. We started with the garlic snails that were amazing and we had the ragú, tourtière and our son had the pepperoni pizza. Everything was exquisite. We ended up our dinner with the typical Quebec dessert: sugar pie. Ahhh, it was all amazing!!! Service was fantastic as well.Thank you for your comment. We hope to see you again!

It was our first night in Beaupre and we wanted good food. Well, we made a great decision. Our waiter was very friendly and was okay with our French. We would have eaten here twice but wanted to try different places for the experience. As a Side Note, if you go down stairs, there is a game room with pool table, air hockey, and other games. We had fun in the game room. You can add this pre or post dinner.

Steve took great care of the four of us as we took a break from skiing. I was amazed at how the cafeteria next door was busy yet Le Brez was a few steps away and quiet. We had 3 different personal pizzas and they were all unique and flavourful. We especially liked the goat cheese pizza. Steve recommended a local beer which hit the spot and added a bowl of fries to our pizzas to fill us up. His attention was perfect. He topped up the pot of tea and always made sure water was full. We will definitely eat here again if we come back to the area. Great value for a resort eatery. Thanks Steve!

We stopped by for lunch. Service was very good and friendly. It took a while to get our orders, even though there were very few patrons. Had the burger, was a nice size but very dry and tasteless, another party could not finish because was way too dry.. Lots of parking and seating outside. Prices were in my opinion slightly high.

We love lamb burgers, and they do them right. Very friendly and accomodating service for English (only) speaking tourists.

Nice, warm and cozy restaurant near Mont-Ste-Anne. Quite busy but no wait for a Thursday evening meal. We tried the calamari (quite good), bolognese spaghetti (should include parmesan cheese), pulled pork burger and Quebec pork osso bucco. Our calamari came very quickly and we did not wait very long for our meals. We did not get to try the desserts as we were quite full. Prices were very reasonable. English menu available on restaurant website under Plat Principaux in pdf format or in restaurant. Small kids menu available as well.
