A few minutes away from the majestic Lac-St-Jean, on wooden grounds located at Lac-Bouchette, the Ermitage Saint-Antoine is a destination appreciated as much by pilgrims than people on an inner quest or travelers seeking natural beauty and tranquility. Founded in 1907 and animated by the Capuchin's religious order, this national shrine offers great quality logging (cottage, hotel, camping), a restaurant and many more activities and services: guided tour, heritage buildings, museum and works of art, walking trail, the famous Kapatakan (trail) of Our Lady (a 215 kilometers Compostela-style pilgrimage) and so much more. The Ermitage Saint-Antoine a must-see to discover... once more.
The restaurant was clean and airy, good service and interesting variety of food. We enjoyed the soup, tourtière and the veggie burger. The blueberry pie dessert was relatively small and had too much sugar; we expected a more authentic filling, given its popularity in this area. A bit pricey overall but fairly good quality. Good option for a meal, with few alternatives nearby. Nice lakeside views. Ermitage rooms were OK but small, a bit warm even with an open window in cool overnight temperatures. Fairly quiet overall, good place to sleep in a very nice surrounding.

To enhance your experience at Parc Omega, take the opportunity to sleep surrounded by bears and wolves. Rustic and surprising accommodation allow you to extend your stay with us within the Park. Our accommodation include access to an observation lookout and a bridge allowing you to watch the animals from up above. You may even notice wild deer wondering freely in the lodging area.
My family of 4 stayed overnight at one of the Parc Omega wolf cabins, and spent the next day in the park. Cost was a little over $600 but at least it included the day in the parc. The cabin experience made it worthwhile with great views of the wolves from the cabin. And also while on a boardwalk that bisected the cabins and the cottages, we got to see two separate packs of wolves and also bears. It's pricy, but as a one-off experience it's worth it.

We were the only other tent campers there at the time which gave us a lot of privacy. Multiple washroom buildings, free showers, and some onsite activities was great. The tent sites are set at the very back, even though they're quite open it gives you a lot of privacy and quiet. The sunsets across the street were stunning, and there was access on a foot path to the beach to watch them.

Stayed in a cabin with our 12 year old son and our dog Pistache. We loved it! The house was super clean, the bathrooms/showers were impeccably clean, and we arrived to find a little welcoming gift (chocolates!) which was a really thoughtful touch. Staff (Jordan and Elizabeth) were so friendly, made sure we had everything we needed and were available for all of our questions. The area is also fantastic and there are so many things to do and see. For those who have more difficulty disconnecting (like our son), there is free wifi available at the entrance. You can expect to see us again soon :)

It was a nice relaxing weekend. We stayed in the Ecorce cabin and it was enough for two adult and a husky. The cabin is equipped with all that we need to stay comfortably, kitchen utensils, campfire wood and we are able to collect more small sticks to start the fire just from the woods around us. We all enjoyed our stay and will be back for sure.

This was a lovely B&B. A jacuzi in the middle of the forest. An area to BBQ and a kitchen to cook in or prepare your breakfast. Area is beautiful and they were very helpful and welcoming. Great for kids.

Fais le pas!Tu peux trouver mieux! It’s quite pricey to not get the view your expecting. We called to ask about the bad reviews and were told it was bad customers. We decided to go ahead thinking it would be alright for two days. The chalet are well equipped and we left it super clean but we didn’t get the full amount from our deposit for no reason... Believe me when I say DO NOT RENT THERE. There’s much better spot where you have the view and the owner won’t steal from you.

My daughter and I stayed at Huttopia Sutton for 3 nights! It was fantastic. My 7 year participated in the daily children's activities and I sat and enjoyed the beautiful view. The swimming pool, rope and climbing area, and family evening activities (puppet show, magician, movie) were great! We would love to go again and bring the rest of the family.

Good value for the money. I stopped here en route from the East coast so needed a clean comfortable stop. Dated and travel worn, but spacious, very clean and comfortable. It was nice to have the kitchenette with some dishes and utensils to be able to reheat my food and also a full size fridge with freezer for storing my food overnight. Generally it seems like a quiet place but I wish o had the upper room because you do hear people walking around above you and the water rushing through the pipes when you are in the lower rooms. Desk staff was very welcoming and helpful.
