Excellent and quiet functional place
Reviewed By ticketspassportgoWe can't really find cons to this hotel. Amenities are a little bit old fashion but at the end you really have all what you need. We came here again on our way back from Lashio. And to have some rest we have extended several time our stay. Pros: - room are big and clean - comfortable bed - shower with plenty of hot water - fastest wifi we ever had in Myanmar - they can arrange bus taxi or train - professional and discreet staff - breakfast buffet - you can rent motorbike at Andrew motorbike rental 100m far from the hotel The only cons we have would be - In 3 nights we got a half day of Internet outage - A little bit pricey regarding other hostels but there you are sure to have all the amenities that a traveler requires and they work ! - Few decorations in the rooms and common areas

Reviewed By Curious288409We stayed in this hotel in January 2020 based on the good reviews and contrary to the choice from our travel agency. For a new hotel we kept wondering how it could have declined so quickly. The room was spacious but NOT clean and not safe. The lamp had a spliced wire and taped with electrical tape. The restaurant was terrible. They were surprised to see us at breakfast and nothing was ready. It felt like a conference hotel not use to individual clients.

Our new guest house is situated in a nice, quiet area in the centre of town. We also have a good and fast internet broadband connection and free Wifi services. There are many restaurants in the area, serving local and international food. We have many rooms. All are clean and tidy. A delicious, traditional, homemade breakfast is included. Our guest house can arrange the best transport services, to, from and around Pyin Oo Lwin, including competitive rates for motorbike rental. We also offer horse riding and trekking options. Reviewed By becw647Clean rooms, lovely staff who are very helpful, it is close to restaurants and a shop. There is a rooftop area and WiFi is ok when it works but there are a lot of power cuts here. The hot water takes a little while to get hot but apart from that it’s fine and reasonably priced

Situated next to the beautiful botanical garden on the side of hill with individual private teak bungalows each with its own veranda. Heated swimming pool, pool room, cosy lounge with a bar and a great restaurant makes for a very relaxed stay.
Absolutely not worth its price
Reviewed By sarahbK676OQBooked two suites with double beds for two nights. They had a promotion so as a foreigner, I paid 100$ for the suite and my local friends 100 000 kyats. At first they gave us two rooms with twin beds put together and it looked ugly and was uncomfortable. The shower drain was disgusting and full of other customers hair. We complained so they gave us two other rooms with double beds and it was obvious that they cleaned in the bathroom right before we came with special attention to the drain. What can I say? The rooms surely needed more care. The bathrooms are getting old and surely aren’t clean enough. The bed sheets were far from the immaculate white colour you’ll find in expensive hotels. But the worst was the appearance and smell of the towels. We took a shower after checking in and when we took the towels, they were so smelly that it was disgusting to use them. We asked for other towels. The smell was a little better but they were definitely more brown than white. They should be changed already. The breakfast was average with ONE glass of fresh juice for two! I won’t return to this hotel and wouldn’t recommend it. You can find better in Pyin Oo Lwin for the same price or less, maybe without a beautiful garden but a good hotel isn’t about gardens and wooden bungalows. It’s about cleanliness, comfort and service.

Reviewed By Myint MI stayed there three days for my vacation. Breakfast is good and nice view at rooftop swimming pool.Staff are very polite and helpful. Not very far from center of the town and you can use free bicycle.I strongly recommend this hotel and i will come again next year.

Close to the Botanical Gardens in Pyin Oo Lwin
Reviewed By banddcleavesThe hotel has several Bungalows spread throughout the extensive gardens. It was once the Officer Quarters for the British Military. We were there for one night. However it is some distance from the downtown of Pyin Oo Lwin. The room was comfortable and we did not need the aircon during the night as Pyin Oo Lwin is above the hot plains and was used by the British, and still is by the locals, as a summer relief resort. Breakfast was well presented and the staff friendly and efficient
