Hafan y Môr Holiday Park is one of Haven's biggest parks – and every inch is filled with family fun. Even more so in 2019, as this year we've bought you some fantastic new developments. Work up a serious appetite making your way around all the activities in the new Dragon Lakes Adventure Village. And when you're feeling hungry? Grab a bite in the new Coast House bar and grill or a yummy cake from the Cakery. Happy with heights? And if you need to put adventures on pause for a sec, just stop – and drink in the glorious scenery all around you. This park is the perfect retreat and holiday for toddlers and babies.
We all had an amazing time at Hafan Y Mor this week! Lots to see and do! We were especially impressed with the service from the guy who worked the shifts in Seaside Squad Shop in the Cove on Wednesday afternoon (8th June) and Thursday night (9th June), very friendly service. We certainly be back to stay another week.

Surf, sea and whistling sands… Bring the crew to the family site of Bryn Llan Leisure. This lovely little Llŷn Peninsula site is a couple of miles from Porthor or the Whistling Sands, a long length of beach hailed by the Bryn Llan owners as the best on all the peninsula (the whistling comes from the sound the sand particles make when walked upon). There are spectacular views from the site (on a clear day you should be able to see all the way to Ireland). From surfing, kayaking and boat trips to serene islands and traditional fish and chips, golfing and shopping, there is something for everybody. Travelling with kids? Visit our fun parks and go-kart centres. If you're looking for somewhere to eat, there's a selection of fantastic restaurants nearby.
This is a great campsite for anyone wanting a quiet get away on the Llyn Peninsula. Located near Whistling Sands, the campsite is clean & well stocked. It has a food shack where you get get warm food & beverages which is great as there is no local pub within walking distance. We stayed with our two children (10yrs & 14yrs). There is no play area on site, which was fine for us, but you'll need to bring things to entertain little ones. The sunsets on this site are beautiful, with the sun setting into the sea in the distance. It's also a perfect location for star gazing. This time of year gets cold though & there are no camp fires on site, so bring extra blankets and a hat. If you like walking, there is a great walk from the National Trust carpark at Whistling Sands up to Mynydd Carreg. This is a circular look out overlooking the coast. The walk takes you on a coastal path back to the beach and to a lovely cafe, where you can have cake.

A prestige site. Beautifully presented with large grass pitches separated with neat hedges. Facilities are superb. Very warm welcome. Yes the approach road is narrow and you must approach from the main road, so ignore your Satnav. Walked down to Llanbedrog and along the extensive sandy beach. Delightful.

We usually camp but treated ourselves to a stay in the Pod. the campsite has amazing views (we were lucky with the weather). It's spacious and the shower/toilet facilities are soooo clean - the cleanest we've ever stayed at. Only criticism is the sofa bed is very uncomfortable.

The location of this site is amazing. So close to the beach and a train station to Pwllheli. We were a big family group - 6 pitches, four generations and a mixture of tents and campervans. We could all get pitched together. We stayed bank holiday weekend and the site was very busy. There were just not enough showers...the layout was poor...queuing for a shower in a narrow space that was the main walkway for the toilets. The facilities were grim....I saw one man sweeping out in the morning and that was it. Obviously with that many people they didn’t stay clean. The men’s was disgusting with many toilets too revolting to use. The fault is clearly with users not being respectful but I do feel the site should have done more to have for frequent cleans. Most campsites have a closed period to allow thorough cleaning to be done but the lack of facilities presumably prevents this. This would stop me going back during peak times.

I am very grateful and feel privileged to have had the chance to discover this camping site. The pod was very comfortable and had all essentials. The location is idyllic, right by the coast and the views out to sea are spectacular. Pete is a very friendly and gracious host and I will definitely come back.

Crugan Farm has three glamping tents - each sleeps 4 people. All three are in the middle of a field next to sheep/cows so no dogs allowed. The farm animal noises are very caling. The tents are a short distance apart enough for privacy. Each tent has a fridge, tv and a small inside log burner as well as an electric fan heater. There is a firepit which doubles as a bbq but best bring your own cooking gas stove. Drinking water is near as is a small washing up kitchenette and the toilet/shower block adjacent to the caravan park on the farm. The facilities are all clean and very well looked after. The beds are more comfortable than most hotel room beds! We slept incredibly well on both nights we visited. We loved our weekend there where Gwenno and Richard are charming hosts. They offer various activities on the farm too for smaller children. The beach is a short walk where there is Aqua a lovely small beach shack serving food and drinks. Zipworld is around a 45 minute drive toward Snowdon. Photo to follow.
