Was in Bagamoyo 4 years ago and stumbled across Poa Poa. This time I made sure we found it again. Great fresh food and good local cuisine and the odd toasted sandwich and chips to boot. Prices are good and itâs next to a great little art dealer if your keen.

Great selection of pizzas on the menu, I had the vegetarian one...vegetables were fresh and tasty. Pizza came really quickly and was amazing! fantastic thin base, great quality tomato sauce and cheese, couldn't believe we'd found great pizza in such a remote place!!

We stayed at the Bagamoyo Country Club and the food was decent but very overpriced compared to other options in town. If you want pizza though, it is definitely a good place to check out.
