We stayed at PL&S for 3 nights and had a great time. We appreciated the lack of WiFi, TV, and cellular service; it allowed my wife and I to truly connect and enjoy the area. We ended up eating every meal there because the menu was always different! We are both vegans and they prepared special food for each meal, which was great, just let them know ahead of time. They have some kayaks that are in great condition and have the skirt to keep you warm and prevent water from getting in the kayak.. I truly appreciated a higher quality kayak. Alright, the hot springs. They. Are. Awesome. I don't know how, but the property never seemed crowded, including the hot springs! They have a few different pools built into the natural surrounding of the resort. I really can't recommend this place enough. If you want high luxury, a fancy ambiance, and ultimate pampering... this is not your place. If you want to feel like you're in an elegant setting on the coast of a breathtaking fjord full of adventurous opportunities, this is the place to go! Period.

A Hostel in a warm rustic wooden style, built by his owner. Even the furniture, tables, beds, chairs are owner's hand-made.Here you will find a warm and friendly space in patagonia's most rainy place.Aside the hostel we have a handicraft shop with different objects made by owner's hostel
Beautifully decorated cabins, well-thought out furnishes and the kindest host Fernando and Milcha made our little Christmas stay at their warm wood cabin and really memorable one. Highly recommended! their cat and dog are simply adorable as well.

We invite you to explore the heart and soul of Patagonia, a place where the fresh air and clear waters join in harmony with a vast green forest, giving form to the rivers and fjords of the south of the world. Located 18 Km (11 Mi) North of the quaint town of Puyahuapi in the South of Chile, near the Carretera Austral and on the northern shore of Lake Risopatrón, El Pangue Lodge is nestled in the dense cold jungle, the native vegetation of the Chilean Patagonia, unique to this special part of the world. The Lodge is surrounded by the Queulat National Park, one of the most beautiful and iconic places in the Chilean Patagonia, known for it’s unspoiled beauty and magnificent scenery.
Unfortunately we stayed here for 2 nights with bad weather. You are sleeping in a small cottage closely to the main building. The cottages are ok, nothing fancy. The great thing is the pool and the hot tub when it is raining you have something to do. The down side was breakfast, very plane with toast, the usual cheese, ham and jam. Not something you would expect for the price you pay for this lodge.

sturdily built building with a bit more space in the guest rooms than many other options in Patagonia; the bed was comfortable, the room warm but windows present to allow cross-breeze if so desired; shower water temperature fluctuates (often the case in these parts), but actually not nearly so dramatically as at many other places we’ve stayed at; hosts were friendly and helpful, including connecting us to someone who could do our laundry; the place is very well sign-posted so easy to find in this small town, and it’s within easy walking distance of the main plaza, a couple of mini markets, and the best restaurant in town too (which is unfortunately NOT Los Manios...see separate reviews); the three downsides: 1. when we showed up at 5 PM to check in after a long day of driving, we found a sign in the front door indicating they were out shopping and wouldn’t return until 630 PM. 2. the price listed on the website for this room did not include the VAT (“IVA” in Chile); this means that the actual cost is the listed cost plus another 19%; not a big deal I guess, but not truth in advertising; now if like us you think the VAT does not apply to you as a foreign tourist, the answer is more complicated - the hotel/hostal has to obtain a VAT waiver from the Chilean government, otherwise they have to charge you; this allows some places to post deceptively low rates as foreigners may assume they aren’t subject to the VAT (this is the only place we’ve been charged a VAT during our month in Chile so far, so most places get their VAT exemption taken care of). 3. finally, the breakfast here was merely OK, nothing special; the most frustrating thing is that one can’t get a cup of real coffee here; no fresh fruit (though we were given some sliced tomatoes, technically fruit), and the orange juice was the usual desultory sweetened stuff. So: the room was nice and comfortable, and I guess we’d stay there again, but we’re not enthusiastic (would prefer to give 3.5 instead of a 4; a score of 3 seems a bit low).

We absolutely loved this place. Nice and cozy and Sooo warm. We stayed here for 2 nights. Breakfast was great. Small and simple but more than expected. The rooms and the bathroom are super clean. The hosts are very friendly! We turned up around 8pm and got a room straight away. It was 30.000 CLP for a night with a shared bathroom. Great room and like I said warm! We have been soo freezing in other accommodations but here you come in and feel like home. Kitchen can be used too. Absolutely recommend it!

Nice cabañas which I can recommend, but there is nothing that could justify the word "eco". They supply disposable bath towels made from microfiber, packed in a plastic bag, which is certainly not ecological. Also, they use scented spray to cover a slight smell of wastewater coming from the shower drain. Otherwise quite nice cabañas.

Horrible. Mal emprendimiento
