In Resort Sahanlahti you spend a lovely holiday, sleep well, enjoy the local delicates and relax in beautiful surroundings. Sahanlahti is situated in the heart of the Saimaa lake district, eight kilometres from the village of Puumala. One of the oldest sawmills in the Saimaa region used to be located here. The last sawmill was closed in 1936, but life in Sahanlahti very much continues.

Nestorinranta offers nature experiences in Puumala Archipelago at Lake Saimaa in Eastern Finland. You can accommodate in a cottage, room or a log granary, rent a bike or boat or go to a guided fishing tour or boat trip. You can also rent a sunset-sauna with a whirlpool on the terrace. A BBQ with fridge, stove, drinking water and dishes is available. In summer you can enjoy of the delicacies of our cow house cafe Nestori and a pancake kiosk on the beach. A place where you can enjoy peace and silence, Okkolan lomamökit offers privately situated villas in peninsulas and bays on the shore of Lake Saimaa. Quality cottages equipped with modern convencies are also available during the winter. Each cottage has its own wood heated sauna and rowing boat.

The hilly region of Lake Torikko is surprisingly quiet. You might say without reserve - the nature is pristine and virtually untouched. The lake water is of drinking quality, as proven both by the locals and the lab tests. The place is home for beavers and roe deer and there're lekking grounds of capercaillie too, where their roo-cooing can be heard.

Koskenselkä Holiday Village has many options for accommodation, fitting every budget. Cottages, cabins, hostel, camping & caravan area are all situated close to nature - 2,5km from the beautiful Puumala centre. During the winter season there are 5 cottages with sauna. During the summer season we have also 20 summer cabins. Our guests can choose their place on arrival on the campsite area next to the lake Saimaa. The area has 26 places with electricity, 50 places for caravan and approximately 70 places for tents. There is a cafeteria in the summer with kiosk and free Wi-Fi. The services of Puumala city centre are located only 2,5km from Koskenselkä. We rent bicycles, canoes and a rowing boats. Our area also has a beach, two maintenance buildings and several barbecue places.
