The Incabar Salon was our unofficial treehouse from which we comfortably observed three days of the Candalaria celebration in Puno. We started with a drink one evening, came back for a meal the next day by the third day had rented a balcony table for an entire 12 hours of celebration. During that time the staff was friendly, the service was prompt, and the various meals we enjoyed were fine.Meanwhile, the parade continued beneath our window and we enjoyed our perch above the festivities on the Plaza de Armas.

small restaurant on Lima streethad the pollo al la brasa ( lightly fried chicken) which was very good. My friend had the chicken soup and breaded chicken which was also tasty. Service was friendly, owner was there to oversee everything. Prices very reasonable. Many locals eat there. Would go back if ever in Puno again

We order different tapas, pies, guacamole, fried nachos and Spicy chicken wings. The latter was dry and not that spicy. It looked really good but all was a bit blend in taste. If the chef had just dared to add some herbs and spices. Chilli, cilantro and lime would have helped a lot. Hope the chef reads this because the foundation was there, only needed a bit flavour. We tried 5 restaurants in Puno and none of them is worth mentioning so cafe bar has a real opportunity to lift their food the next level. Good luck

We came across this bar along the main drag in Puno town centre and it was great. It has music videos playing on screens which gives it a bit of atmosphere

I always get sucked in to places that describe themselves as gastropubs, and am usually disappointed. Same result when I stopped here with my wife.Things got off to a bad start when we only got one menu and had to ask for a second one. Then I realized that the beer list consisted of a list of breweries but no reference to the style of beer (e.g. IPA, porter, etc.). I looked at the cooler and had a few basic questions regarding some of the beers (e.g. where is this from, what style is this) that the waiters couldnât answer. Then we tried to order food and learned that they didnât have half of their already minimal menu.The positives: my wife liked her pisco drink and I found two decent Peruvian craft beers after rooting through their beer cooler.

I went because of all the TripAdvisor excellent reviews. The person serving me upstairs was very pleasant. I ordered ham mushroom olive pizza. When it arrived there was no ham and no mushrooms. I showed the lady serving me, she agreed and took the pizza away. Next minute a not so pleasant person from downstairs brought my pizza back, lifted a corner and showed me the tiniest sliver of ham. By the time I had finished it was rubbery. All in all very disappointing, and I couldnât recommend Remix.
