We ordered two pizzas which took quite a while to be cooked and brought out. Fair enough, we were eating quite early (6 ish), so perhaps the pizza oven wasn't heated. Both pizzas were very bland, little to no sauce and the toppings were tasteless (I had salami and mushroom, but it could have been anything!). We wanted to order desserts and had to wait a long time for our plates to be cleared and then to flag down the waiter for menus. The restaurant was still not that busy at this point. The majority of desserts on the menu were unavailable, although we weren't informed of this until after we had waited a long time for the waiter to come back. In the end we both settled for pancakes. These were cold and the ice cream was grainy as if it had melted and been refrozen. The coffees we ordered were not drinkable. They tasted as if they were made of instant coffee with sweetened (possibly out of date) long life milk. We are not fussy diners but neither of us could drink more than a sip without feeling nauseous! The restaurant itself is quite pleasant, and it is in a prime tourist location. The prices are fairly reasonable for the area. Shame about the quality of food and service though.
