A patchwork of vineyards and olive groves, dotted with whitewashed hill towns and sun-bronzed beaches—Italy’s southern heel has no shortage of photogenic landscapes. There are a few surprises, too, including the baroque city of Lecce and the Itria Valley, with its UNESCO-listed trulli houses.

Albergo Diffuso Monopoli was born from the determination of a group of friends to create an alternative accommodation that is able to offer tourists an experience of authentic life, door to door with the local people. Albergo Diffuso Monopoli doesn’t offer the classic stay, the host gives to all guests the opportunity to live a "slow" holiday and an authentic experience as resident and not as a tourist in touch with the old town of Monopoli. The historic of Monopoli still retains the charm of a medieval village, heritage of the beautiful architecture, traditions, spirituality and folklore. For the birth of Albergo Diffuso nothing new has been created, but historic houses were renovated with a great attention to the preservation of the own architectural features. From the fisherman to a noble house, it has tried to preserve the atmosphere of that age, however furnish all dimora with all amenities. Those who choose Albergo Diffuso Monopoli has available spared houses and rooms that are no more far than 200 meters from the "heart" of the hotel, the reception and the cafe with breakfast room.
Albergo Diffuso gives you a real old world stay in Puglia as it still has the original stone stairway and entrance. Rooms are spacious and clean. Location is fantastic as you are steps away from all the shops & restaurants as well as the beaches and port area. The reception staff were very helpful with arranging all our excursions and using Whatsapp made it effortless (highly recommend the 3 hr boat tour). Sabrina and Silvia were wonderful to deal with and managed to organize all our many requests and always with a smile. Would highly recommend this hotel.

It has stone bungalows with airconditioning, each with bedroom, bathroom with hand shower, living room, kitchenette (gas cooker, dishes, refrigerator) and veranda.
We've spent in Malia Village a week in a hot summer 2019. It was our first visit in Apulia, we knew that attractions like Alberobello, Matera etc. are strongly worth to see - but on the other hand during the hot summer we wanted to rest in peace on the beach. That's why we chose Gargano region as our destination. And Malia Village as an acommodation place. That choice resulted in one of the best vacations in last years. Malia Village is beatifully kept place with a lot of plants. There is a swimming pool with bar in which we spent almost all the time before midday. There are of course beautiful sandy beaches in walking distance - we enjoyed staying there in the afternoons. Vieste, Peschici, Monte Saint'Angelo are the typical south-Italian towns which we visited by nights. We strongly recommend to visit Malia Village and Gargano area.

Cannot recommend highly enough...the location, accommodation, staff, breakfast (amazing choice of foods and wonderful homemade jam from the local fruits), truly excellent customer service! Setting the bar high - enjoy!

Santa Maria 24 Guesthouse Santa Maria 24 means simple traditions blended in with the comfort of innovation. It is the melting pot of matchless sensations immersed in a genuine local frame, the old centre of Monopoli.
Every single person at this hotel was professional, warm and helpful. Antonella, who I never met but who answered every question that I emailed, Patrizia the manager, a truly outstanding person, Sandrine the owner, and Rocco, the gentleman who drove us to and from our parking spot in his 1974 aqua Citroen. What a way to arrive! The -asking that the hotel can arrange is a brisk walk but not inconvenient as we didn’t move our car more than once a day. The apartment was beautiful, comfortable bed, clean, nice bathroom, outstanding bath products and robes and slippers. The kitchen had an espresso machine and we welcomed the fridge for our wine and water. There seemed to be enough pans and dishes in the kitchen if one wants to cook. . Breakfast was wonderful, the usual European meats and sweets. My husband is a big fan of charcuterie and he said that the quality was outstanding. Yogurts, many varieties, fruits, fresh juices, a box of teas, coffees, really the best. The location is perfect. We chose a room with a sea view. I would not look any further if I return to Monopoli. Thank you all for your hospitality.

We had suite Ocean which we could see the beautiful sea and we could also relax on the balcony. The jacuzzi was very romantic and the staff decorated the room with rose petals. Staff have been very helpful and the hotel is only 20 steps away from the beach. It is a bit difficult to get to though, if you are not driving. We waited for an hour for buses which didn't even come. If your holiday is about spending time relaxing in the hotel and beaches then it is a good place to stay.

Sotto le Cummerse Albergo Diffuso, set up in 2002, with its skilfully and elegantly refurbished flats, spread across the very heart of the historical district of Locorotondo, the circle-shaped sentry overlooking Valle d'Itria. The hotel was conceived by Angelo Sisto and his wife Teresa Salerno, who have always been particularly fond of their little native town, fascinated by the traditional colours, smells and flavours that still mark the historical district of Locorotondo. Sotto Le Cummerse, in Locorotondo. All the Apulian beauty is around you!
Property is not really a hotel rooms but a group of apartments in buildings in the town Locorotondo. We arrived at the “hotel” office and were escorted to our accommodations about 700 meters away. Our “rooms” were adjoining and we shared a small kitchen area. Our room had a step set off stairs which were difficult to navigate with our luggage. The bathroom was really nice with a large shower. Our bed was older with a too soft mattress. Breakfast was in a short walk away and was decent. Locorotondo is a cute town and walking around town I really did not see any other hotels or places to stay. Le Cummerse might just be it. Locorotondo is a pretty town.

Booked this hotel to stay in Polignano as part of wedding trip in nearby beach club. The hotel is fantastic - spacious rooms, clean, central to the main square and walking distance from the old town. But probably the best thing about it is Rossella who works there. She’s amazing. Booked us tours, sorted out transfers and tuk tuks, printed off documents and made great recommendations for eateries and things to do. She did all of this with a big smile on her face and I really felt that she went above and beyond. What a credit to have an employee like her! Would recommend to anyone - a great boutique hotel in Polignano.

we booked a solution paying the balance in advance. When we booked it they showed us a type of apartament like the photo of the web site and when we arrived there the apartament was completely different: unacceptable. There is a lot of umidity, terrible smell, the kitchen was broken and the bathroom unusable and the wardrobes were broken and mouldy. It's not compliant with the electrical standard rules and it generates dangerous situation. the shared places (swimming pool and so on) are not bad but i don't suggest it to every one. (please refer to the pictures attached)

This place is so amazing that it’s even impossible to describe it in a review. It deserves a poem, a book, a movie. If I could only give it 10 stars!.. This village-inspired masseria is very conveniently located. It’s close to the beautiful towns of Gallipoli, Nardo, Ugento, Lecce, and other Apulian towns and villages. The beaches are 5 minutes away and Borgo provides free shuttle. The grounds are beautiful, very well maintained, and worth Instagram pictures in every corner. Swimming pool with the bar and resort-feeling ambiance is the place to be any time of the day. Our room, Gardenia was pretty specious, lovely and thoughtfully decorated, equipped with all needed amenities and reliable A/C (not a sure thing in Italy). It also had nice private veranda. The breakfast which is included in your stay is delicious: fresh fruits, homemade pastries, eggs, ham, cheese, warm bread, juices, and amazing coffees. Borgo also serves lunch and dinner which you need to reserve in advance. All that unforgettable experience of staying at Borgo Rosa Terra would be impossible without their staff. Vera and her team – girls at reception, bar and cafeteria people, pool squad, drivers, everyone! are so kind, warm, and helpful that you feel yourself at home and royally treated at the same time. Vera treats every guest as her personal friend or her family member. I would definitely recommend staying at Borgo Rossa Terra to anyone visiting Puglia. Cannot wait to return there myself.

Featuring free wifi , Suite Nina Lecce offers elegant mediterranean style accomodation. Every room is air conditioned and comes with flat –screen tv. All rooms include bathroom with free toiletries and hair dryer. Duomo Square is 400m from Suite Nina. Piazza Mazzini and Lecce shopping area is 1km from Suite Nina. Brindisi- Salento airport is 39km away from the property.
Would not recommend the breakfast because Nina will charge you a lot more for having a coffee at the bar by the Gate... It would be more fair to actually tell people to go the bar for coffe and a pastry, rathen than charge it a lot more than what it costs. Other than that bed is fine. we slept OK but been woken up at 7am by the alarm from the school across the street. Shower and toilet are across the room. Not much space in there, Let's say you could brush your teeth while you seat on the throne. Window by the shower don't really close, making the room a little less sound proof and cooling the shower. We didnt have the little biscuit that are said to be there.
