It looks like a nice restaurant. The first time was good with some appetizers and cheese and ham, friendly staff. After this first time, a disaster: limited menu with some good things. Not well organised: menus not clear and/or without prices...left to the fantasy of the staff. They can do much more. Our restaurant's menu is consistent throughout Wednesday and Sunday, however, on Tuesday's we have a weekly event with guest Chef Big D called Tapas Tuesdays where he puts together a different tapas menu each week. Each dish there has a set price of RD$200. we had a great day first on the beach, then in the Restaurant Lax! This time with my daughter, her husband and my grand child.We enjoyed the great meals and cold beer. They offer a large variety of dishes, we decided for a typical Mofongo, 1 with chicken, 1 with beef, plus a jerk chicken dish, all really to recommend!

CASA MAMI's menu is wonderful - plate of the day, pork, chicken, shrimp....and so many delicious sides!Everything is fresh, served hot and it delicious.
