The food will never disappoint you... cant miss the Tuna with Cajeta (milk caramel).Drinks and wines menu have good quantity and quality of choices.Prices might be perceived a little high, but for me they are right balanced. If the weather is good, dont miss the chance to be seated in the small terrace

The setup and ambience is great, very nice welcome. Good menu and reasonably priced, great selection of wines. Very inconsistent dish quality. We ordered the two duck dishes, one was awesome, the other overcooked and tasteless. The head waiter, rather than accepting our comment, disregarded it and responded that there is no way to please everybody, other people surely preferred it that way. Getting an invoice for the check took several weeks with lots of phone calls... what a waste!

We have been to several restaurants during this week, but this has been the best. This is a restaurant that focuses on the quality of the food and the service, this is not a pretentious restaurant; simple and just focused on the quality of the food. This is the first restaurant where I have been asked whether the temperature of the wine was my preferred. We had an assortment of cheeses and also some good serrano ham. They brought the ham over to our table and sliced it for us. They also had a delicious Santo Tomas Barbera wine produced in Mexico. I had never had this type of grape before, but it was great. Its somewhat closer to pinot noir, but quite distinctive. Finally, the grouper spanish style with clams was superb. The dessert was spectacular, a turron ice-cream.

Place is very nice and the enviroment couldn't be better, but the prices are complete out of Puebla's average.I ordered a simple arrachera, a limonade and a melted cheese and my check was over $1000 pesos ($80 usd), and by the way the beef was overcooked.

Actually, its not that hard to find (see previous comment), its just west of Blvd. Atlixco, south of the Triangulo Las Animas shopping center and Wal-Mart, near the Plaza San Jose shopping center, in the Colonia known as Fraccionamiento Estrellas del Sur. It is, however, not so visible from the highway. so you have to be in the right hand lane and going slowly in order to make the turn, as it is set back from the highway on a small and narrow street. There are lots of very interesting local items on the menu, this is definitely not your typical, everyday restaurant. So if you want a different dining experience and want to eat some really good food, try La Casita, we really enjoyed our visit. You don't come here for the ambiance, the interior is relatively basic. There is some parking, more than many restaurants in Puebla but not a generous amount. Its definitely worth the extra time and effort to try this.
