Must eat a Torta el qui to if you are in Tehuacan. I am a huge fan of tortas. In Tehuacan there are 2 places where tortas are the best I ever had anywhere ever. This place is one of them. (El,Jitomate romántico is the Other). El quinto is a Tradition in Tehuacán, everyone knows him. The little street car is always packed. There is always a line. You will be given a choice between Milanese (breaded thin steak) or pavo ( a little spicy oven roasted turkey). I like both. Then using a telera bread or Torta bread he puts mayo, the meat, lettuce, tomatoes, etc... And the super special touch he finishes it by dipping the bread for just a sec in some of the turkey juices. It is so good.
