This is a very nice restaurant close to the beautiful Zocalo in Puebla. The service was fairly good, I liked that they provided you with a drink as you waited for your table. The agua de tamarindo was superb. We only had to wait 2 minutes in any case. The restaurant is very nicely laid out, and service verging on 'white glove'. I had the three enchiladas with a different type of mole on each, a good way to sample them. I'll say they were all very good, though to my taste, the mole poblano wins. The salsas were absolutely excellent as well. Probably our best meal in Puebla. The space is really pretty, and they have a museum upstairs that is worth checking out (probably after dinner) about the house, relics that were found there (including a pre-spanish tomb) and a collection of pre-Colombian artifacts. The service and the food were good, and after 9 pm they have live music. We enjoyed our dinners, which were great flavors for traditional foods, plus some Spanish dishes like Serano Ham and paella. Mole is everywhere in Puebla, but they had a good mole poblano.

A mexican restaurant with a special focus on dishes from Puebla. Located at the city center in Puebla just in front of the Cathedral. Our menu has tacos, cemitas, tortas, beer, mezcales and traditional dishes as Chalupas or Mole Poblano.

Wanted to try different Mexican beers and Comal had selections from Atlixco that were new to us. Decided to stay for dinner and was pleased that they offered vegetable entrees on their menu. Tacos huazantle was a delicious vegetarian taco with a leafy green and cheese patty while the fish taco was generously topped with shredded greens. The big bowl of grilled vegetables rounded out our meal. There are lots of meat options in the menu as well. The blonde ale complemented the meal perfectly. Staff couldnât have been more helpful explaining what was in the menu. Very convenient location facing the Cathedral.Thanks for visiting us! Cinco de Mayo´s Craft beer from Atlxco is one of our favorites, we appreciate you liked it. Cuisine from Puebla is very rich as you have noticed, from very simple dishes to complex ones like Mole.
