It didn't take us long to decide visiting El Mural de los Poblanos restaurant. Really worthy.
The variety of the menu is good, with some dishes only available certain months of the year. We were happy to ask for the ant's caviar "escamoles" though a bit disappointed to hear that they didn't have it despite saying on the menu that they are available as from March to May. Anyway we enjoyed our dinner very much.
Kids ordered the kids menu, which in many places looks not appealing, but here was different. A plate with meat, home made chips and noodles. They said it was tasty.
We tried the sopa poblana which was tasty though we were expecting more creamy. We ordered the Degustación de Mole, 6 different moles, spectacular experience, specially for us who only stayed one night in Puebla.
We ordered oysters which were delicious though hot! If you can stand hot food then skip it!
Prices are accordingly to the level of the restaurant. We stayed with non-alcoholic drinks, except for one Campari and ended up paying 1200 MXN with tip included.

This is a very good restaurant, where you can find mexican food, gourmet type, good selection of wines and spirits. This is located in downtown Puebla, near the Zocalo.
Ratio price/quality is very good. Very nice Decoration and the building is old with an internal patio.
Nice restaurant to go with friends or gor business!

We decided to create a restaurant that preserves flavors and traditions. A place that wouldn’t be ‘trendy’ but for life. We respected the 1920s additions to the 16th- century San Miguel La Noria hacienda, and now enjoy our contemporary traditional style cooking on the Terrace, under bird filled green laurels. La Noria is a cyclical and circular space, like the waterwheel that gives us our name, where we can enjoy our preferred pleasures.

La Noria is located in a renovated Hacienda, with an extraordinary ambiance that balance tradition with trendy elements. This is one of the top restaurants in Puebla where you can eat the culinary offering of this region (e.g. mole). The restaurant is cossy, with different areas that will make of your experience a unique one. Food is great but also the service from all of the staff. Perfect balance between costs and benefits. Overall a most when visiting this beautiful city.

We visited the site in the mall shopping center located in Angelopolis, they have two other restaurants within the city.
We seated in the Terrace, the weather was excellent and we enjoy the view and social life.
El Parrillaje offers a variety of steaks and side dishes, the waiter shows to you the different meat they have and provides a good explanation about the way they grill the meat. The food and desserts are delicious, and they have a very high customer service paying attention to all details.
Perfect environment for families, couples to celebrate or just enjoy a meal.

My Fiance and I ate here after a three week working trip to Puebla and La Estancia never disappoints. Beyond the incredible meats which are out of the world, the service here is fantastic. Our main server, Luis, who speaks perfect English was overly helpful as was his right hand man Jose. The service doesn't stop at the table, the best bathroom attendant I have ever met works here, Mr. Apolina, who runs around the bathroom making sure you have everything you need to enjoy your meal and party. A must go to Everytime we are in Puebla, La Estancia never disappoints.

I do taste food for a living, the food here taste fresh, it seems they use local products and so far the bread(sweet), taste like it was made that day, the chicken, beef, or pork also have a great taste, I should say it is not a traditional Mexican restaurant, but it does have the elements, over all the food is good, still not that amazing to get 5 stars. Also keep in mind, the servers seems to be doing classes or something while they also work and they don't have that charisma a regular server does, but they are attentive and always checking on you. When visit Puebla, you should stop by and try the Bistro.

My husband and i were here four years ago when this place just opened. It is conveniently located near the El Colonial Hotel. This time my friends and I returned three times, once for dinner, another for drinks, and another for an excellent Blues concert. The music is top notch, and the food also excellent, whether you are just having a starter or a whole meal. Nice wine selection. We loved the servers... Jose and Josette stand out in our minds. Great people. The restaurant specializes in a Mexican prosciutto which gets worked into several of their offerings. The space is lovely and they have recently discovered layers of habitation underneath the restaurant and have made part of the building into a museum. So one can have a full cultural and gustatorial experience when visiting this wonderful spot.

What is called a boutique hotel, but one with big style and comfort. High end without being fussy. The decor is contemporary Mexican, clean, white open spaces accented with old stone walls from an earlier building, along with dark furniture and Talavera ceramics. Works well. Our room was upstairs overlooking an interior court. Large and comfortable space, with sofa and desk. Hotel staff were very friendly.
