Pskov is brimming with charming little churches and other remnants of its medieval history. Walk around the town and you can still see much of the original 13th century walls that once encircled and protected the inhabitants. Don't miss the Trinity Cathedral. Just outside of town are several monasteries and a house that belonged to the famous writer Pushkin

We have been here twice, and ate okroshka, mushroom cream-soup, chicken shaslyk and lily-kebab, as well as some white fish. Everything was tasty, and the price was very reasonable. Kvas, Cidre (alcoholic) and dessert "Bird's milk" are must try things there.

We went to this restaurant on 1st Nov to celebrate a family birthday. we were in a group of 10 and the helpful staff got us a table big enough for all of us. The restaurant is very clean and nicely decorated in a Hanseatic/medievil...MoreБлагодарим вас, за ваш отзыв! Будем рады видеть вас снова у нас в гостях!

Sorry fellows, but this place is too noticeable because it's in city center. If you want to touch the Soviet history go there and look what is like to sit in a dirty dining cheap meals. It could be better... But it's not.

Pivnye Palaty (Beer House) – the guests are welcome to plunge into the atmosphere of Russian feasts, where the tables are loaded with an incredible variety of dishes and drinks are plenti-ful.
The name implies that the restaurant would be specializing in beer. "The beer chambers" didn't impress us with the variety of beer, especially considering that we wanted to try some Russian beer, but they offered none. The beer was German, Check and Belorussian, which was good, but a bit disappointing. The food menu was extensive, and all items we ordered were very good.

Expensive for Pskov (or even for St. Pete) beer at 300 rubles for 0.5 liters of tapped known European brands - Guiness, Newcastle, etc. Unfortunatelly, very few actually available. Food OK, but not memorable, portions medium, service friendly. Place was empty on Sat. night. Would probably not go again.

Restaurant ‘Trapeznye Palaty’ – one of the few places where you can enjoy masterpieces of Russian and European cuisine served in a respectable atmosphere.
Had dinner with friends in this traditional restaurant. Decor is superb, staff attentive and helpful, and food wonderful. Also music provided by a saxophonist and guitarist was a pleasing backdrop to a great experience. It is less and less common to find good, unobtrusive live entertainment in restaurants these days, so a nice surprise.
Highly recommended.

Pirogov Palaty – will please you with a cozy atmosphere, wide as-sortment of fast food, high-grade quality and affordable prices.
Pirogoviye palaty dvora podznoeva became my favorite place to have breakfast during my short stay in this little Russian city. Decisively superior to the trapeznye palaty, the Pirogoviye palaty offer a wide range of good sweets and pirojki at a super accessible price. Loved the Napoleon and the mushroom pie, a bit less instead the caramel cake with the poppy seeds.
