Reviews on Steakhouse food in Zaragoza, Province of Zaragoza, Spain. A rich blend of the historic and modern, Zaragoza sits on the banks of the Ebro River. Stroll in the center of town near San Miguel's pedestrian ways or around the Plaza de los Sitios, where you find boutiques, markets and souvenir shops. A center for gastronomy, Zaragoza offers food and drink for every budget and taste. But tapas is a must! In 2008, Zaragoza hosted the International Exhibition; the Water Tower, Bridge Pavilion and River Aquarium show off of the city's avant-garde architecture.

Staff is very unfriendly, meat is okay but this is only normal meat plate with pommes, nothing special.

Best meat place in the city: you can't miss the shot with the amazing T-Bone steak, lamb ribs or fillet. French fries are homemade. Salads and appetizers are great too, specially pepper & anchovies salad, lettuce & onion salad and sardine spread. Desserts are homemade too: the cheese creme or the lemon pie are simply spectacular. The place is comfortable & classy. ¿Service? Kind, helpful, good tips, not poshy at all. Location is perfect: city center, tiny walking street, quiet environment. I've already repeated the visit several times, and I'll keep on eating there. Price is right: not cheap, not expensive (25-30 euros a menu, taxes & tips included).

We had suckling lamb with a similar restaurant in Burgos and recommended this to our friends whom traveled with us this time. It's not really the same quality of food. The leg of lamb was good and the suckling pig could have a little more crispy skin. Overall the food was good, wasn't exceptional.

The food quality, taste and value here is simply fantastic. This restaurant makes a nice accompaniment while visiting the Palacio de la Aljaferia a few steps away. The restaurant gets quite busy so I recommend a reservation. Tip: if you're going to order more than one glass of wine your better off ordering the bottle. Getting that second glass will take a while. Hours are from 9am to 9pm during the time we visited.

Si eres un apasionado de la carne no puedes dejar de visitarnos. Restaurante con una imagen cuidada y una calidad superior en sus productos, donde los más suculentos cortes de carne y el buen vino van de la mano. A la mimada imagen de restaurante retro de
We ate in here tonight after reading trip adviser reviews. We hadnât booked but luckily they managed to squeeze us in. Given itâs a Monday night - it shows how good it is that it had reserved signs on every table. The service was so friendly. We had a lovely waitress from Chile who explained the whole menu to us in English and made recommendations about how much to order for each course. The restaurant concept is sharing plates so it was definitely useful that she did that. The food was delicious- we both thoroughly enjoyed it and glad we went here. Highly recommended

Stopped by halfway between Barcelona and San Sebastián. Taverna la piedra serves hearty wholesome good food. We had the artichokes which is excellent. The fried potatoes goes very well with the sirloin but the sirloin is definitely the highlight. Full of flavor and just seared on a hot plate on our table. Wine recommended was excellent too. Nice to have hearty wholesome food after a few days of fancy degustation. Would recommend anyone in the city to try it!

I had dinner here for the second time a couple of weeks ago. The first time was fantastic...I was there for a casual work dinner, 8 of us in total. When we arrived there was an important football match on, the owner being a massive Real Madrid fan, so the atmosphere was quite lively to start with, but so loud that we couldn't enjoy our meal and to be honest it charged the place with a good energy. We got a selection of Spanish dishes to share which were absolutely fantastic, I would recommend one thing but it would do a disservice to the other things we ate. I honestly don't think you can make a poor choice at Meson Martin. The wine list was absolutely fantastic, I know because I was eating with wine buffs. The only thing for me that let the meal down was the meat that you cook yourself on hotplates at the table... the meat, cut into strips, was too thin and had too much fat attached to it.If I had to choose only one dish there... it would be the octopus, absolutely superb.

The restaurant is away from the touristic center but well worth the visit. The staff is super friendly and attentive. We choose the menu of the month for lunch and the value for the money is excellent! It was accompanied with really good local wines. We will definitely go back!

First of all, i want to explain the good service that i have received with my family. The waiter explained to us the main dishes with all the details. The food is excellent and the meat is very good, cooked in an original way. Desserts are also excellent. I recommend the 'croquetas' or 'caneloni' with an original sauce. We will repeat.Thank you for your comment Xavi.Explaining the dishes and how we do them is a very rewarding task for us and for our clients. We love to surprise you with curious elaborations or with very visual and attractive dishes such as trapntojos and roasts. Thanks again for your visit and see you soon.
