Delicious, generous lunch overlooking the vineyard or the inside of the bodega.Very good wine, some of my favourite from Toro. After eating you can have a guided visit of the bodega. The winemaker also speaks English. Very interesting, and worth the little bit if extra time.Book a table for weekends as it can get busy. You won't be hungry or thirsty after your visit, just make sure you're not the one driving home!

Light and space are discovered at 'Nube' Restaurant. Large windows let you see the winery, the ampelographic garden and rich plain of the Duero River. An exquisite service and a delicate atmosphere to enjoy an edgy high quality cuisine in which special at
We have been visiting this restaurant once a year for lunch on our annual pilgrimage to Toro since it opened a few years ago. It is part of the 5* Valbusenda hotel and Bodega complex. We have never stayed in the hotel preferring to stay in Toro itself. In the past we eat in the restaurant itself which is very nice, bright and airy with pleasant views over the surrounding landscape and well laid out tables. The food was always very good and I would regard it as fine dining, in so far as you get fine dining in Spain. On this occasion we were very disappointed. We were told that unless we ordered one of the two available tasting menus, the smaller one was I think 7 courses, we would not be allowed to eat in the restaurant itself. Seven courses is far too much for me at lunchtime so we indicated that we would eat of the menu.Given our choice we were then shown into a side room, vary basically decorated with basic table settings though it did have similar views from windows though not the floor to ceiling ones in the restaurant itself. We were made to feel cheap as we had opted for what we thought was an "A la Carte menu". We were then brought the menu which was basically the lounge bar menu with a fairly limited selection though we still had hopes that it would be good as it was pricey.I opted for a steak which was tasty and well cooked, though did have some gristley bits. However it only came with some deep fried potato chips that were very lightly cooked. There was nothing fancy or special about it at all when we had been expecting a fine dining experience based on our previous visits. My wife opted for the burger as it could be gluten free without the bun, again nothing special, and she complained that it was undercooked for her (despite having been asked how she would like it) though it would have been fine for me.Overall a very disappointing experience and I can not recommend it. We are now unlikely to go back.

The enthusiasm for the wines elaborated in this area, together with our love for gastronomy, gave in 2006 as a result the creation of a dream: Bodega Latarce. This dream has continued to grow more and more over the years, and has become palpable with the
