Asador de producto de temporada y sin chorradas! Nuestros proveedores de km 0 y nuestro mimo para elaborarlo es nuestra ilusión.
Whilst attending the European Rugby finals, we needed to entertain clients before the match, the suburb of Getxo yielded this gem, known to one of our group who lives there.Very traditional building, warm, comfortable and welcoming, the staff were lovely, attentive and proud, the food was superb, cooked to perfection, the wine complimented the meal, what a great surprise.

The Iturgitxi Restaurant is located in the town of Berango, Vizcaya. The restaurant has a few extra features which make it a nice place to go with children including a children's playground and a large lawn. This was at least our 3rd visit to the restaurant and we have never been disappointed. We typically start with a bottle of Txakoli SeñorÃo de Otxaran, a very good white wine with the aroma of ripe fruit and citrus. For starters I always enjoy the fried green peppers (pimientos verdes fritos) which are pan fried in olive oil and a touch of salt. The kids enjoyed a plate of chorizo a la sidra, chorizo sausages simmered in a saucepan with apple cider and cut into bite size pieces. We also tried the stuffed red peppers with meat for the first time (pimientos rojos rellenos con carne) served with a delicious brown gravy. Weâve sampled a variety of other plates from the menu including fresh fish selections, steak and lamb chops â all to our liking. I would recommend this restaurant for a relaxing place to dine and a great place to go if your dining with children.

We visited to take a drink and some pintxos, due to the weather being unseasonably warm, the restaurant was busy, & it was after the traditional lunch service time.We waited at a table on the terrace and were ignored, therefore went inside to order at the bar, again we were ignored and no-one to serve us. Once I caught the eye of a waiter, I was snapped at by a very rude bald headed waiter,"the restaurant diners come first". Eventually got served and had very nice Pintxos, had to ask for ice for one drink and got rolling eyes treatment. Won't be returning & have a very big family living in Santurtzi, whom I'm assured won't be returning.

Living at Bilbao, I do not need a hotel, however recently we had a dinner party there in the lovely restaurant to give farewell to one of our friends. We entered with high expectations, but left the place quite disappointed for several reasons.Service was o.k., however none of the waiters cared to fill up the glasses later on.The entrance dishes were up to expectations, but the main course was some sort of a pitfall. It consisted of a grilled rape (devilfish) with a side dish of fine cut chipirones in su tinta (calamaries in their ink). The devilfish was dry - most probably deep frozen, the chipirones quite hard. If I would have cooked this at home, I would have said: not my best day...The dessert again was one of these "industrial-type" cakes, nothing special. The worst of all was the mens lavatory, just a mess. So I complained at one of the waitresses.Later on we went to the bar and dancing place. As there were a lot of persons present, temperature was quite high and combined with the high humidity it was quite uncomfortable. I asked the barman to increase the air-conditioning or to open a door. He told me hat air-conditioning was already at maximum and the door can not be opened because it is broken.Needless to say, the door was labelled as emergency exit...Any further question?

This bar has a super modern feel and is really clean. They have a decent selection of Pintxos and drink specials. The quirky thing is they're always playing American music and music videos but I love the vibe.

We walked the very nice marina of Getxo and wondered in this restaurant hoping in a nice meal. We were not disappointed at all.The sangria was delicious, the meat amazing and just cooked for us, the croquettes were delicious. It was quite and, although we thought it was slightly pricy for a lunch menu, it was worth it and the service was very nice. They do offer also nights with concerts and shows and it all brings to a great environment with a great waterfront view
