Reviews on Italian food in Bilbao, Province of Vizcaya, Spain. Travelers generally come to Bilbao to see the Guggenheim—some for the art inside, but many for the amazing building itself. The Fine Arts Museum and the Basque Museum may not have been designed by Frank Gehry, but are worth a visit, and you can catch international opera stars at the Palacio Euskalduna.

Spending a couple of nights in Bilbao at the end of a fantastic holiday in North Spain. We decided that an Italian meal would make a pleasant change and were not dissapointed. This is a friendly, reasonably priced little family run resaurant serving delicious regional Italian fare. Buono!

Italian pizzeria with gourmet and PDO ingredients. Organic Italian flour and technique of triple fermentation of the dough. Authentic Neapolitan oven. All 100% handmade by the Italian brothers Demaio.
I thought this place would be amazing based on the reviews but it was honestly just okay. The focus is on pizza and they have a small choice of beer and wines. It is hard to get a table and they are generally very busy but the service is actually very good. The pizza crust is thin and the sauce is good, but nothing special. I would recommend the buffalo mozzarella pizza, second one on the menu. The only explanation for these three stars is that we have not been able to recommend the pizzas best suited to your tastes. La Speck is one of the most loved pizzas by the people here in Bilbao, italians and spanish. The authentic Agerola mozzarella, the Sardinian tomato (of one of the best Italian whole peeled tomato brands), authentic Speck from Trentino Alto Adige, Parmigiano Reggiano aged 30 months in the mountains: all these ingredients are not just ok, they are simply Italian excellence that no one else use here in Bilbao. We are sorry that you don't appreciate it and that you preferred a non-Italian pizzeria in Bilbao that doesn't not work with this level of quality. Anyway, thank you so much for coming.

This restaurant was really great. The service was excellent and the staff were so attentive and friendly. The food was absolutely delicious and really well made. My husband and I both had pizzas. They were a generous size without being too heavy. The desserts were also fantastic and their wine recommendation was excellent. I would very highly recommend this restaurant.

TIPS & TRICKS:- Sunday: Either get reservations or come at opening and see what they have available. Itâs was filled to the Max about a half hour opening. - Walk: Bilbao is lovely in early Fall and the streets in the area are tight. Walk if you can.
