We visited to take a drink and some pintxos, due to the weather being unseasonably warm, the restaurant was busy, & it was after the traditional lunch service time.We waited at a table on the terrace and were ignored, therefore went inside to order at the bar, again we were ignored and no-one to serve us. Once I caught the eye of a waiter, I was snapped at by a very rude bald headed waiter,"the restaurant diners come first". Eventually got served and had very nice Pintxos, had to ask for ice for one drink and got rolling eyes treatment. Won't be returning & have a very big family living in Santurtzi, whom I'm assured won't be returning.

Located at the heart of Getxo and really close to the World Heritage Site of Vizcaya Bridge, Beti Lagunak offers an amazing culinary experience for an unbelievable price. The cooking team commanded by our chef Sandra Vallejo serves a set menu worth 9 euro
I lived in Getxo in 2013 and greatly enjoyed this fantastic restaurant. Excellent daily menus with free house (not bad) wine (white and/or red) and very fine water and bread. THE BEST!!!! Kenneth.

Living at Bilbao, I do not need a hotel, however recently we had a dinner party there in the lovely restaurant to give farewell to one of our friends. We entered with high expectations, but left the place quite disappointed for several reasons.Service was o.k., however none of the waiters cared to fill up the glasses later on.The entrance dishes were up to expectations, but the main course was some sort of a pitfall. It consisted of a grilled rape (devilfish) with a side dish of fine cut chipirones in su tinta (calamaries in their ink). The devilfish was dry - most probably deep frozen, the chipirones quite hard. If I would have cooked this at home, I would have said: not my best day...The dessert again was one of these "industrial-type" cakes, nothing special. The worst of all was the mens lavatory, just a mess. So I complained at one of the waitresses.Later on we went to the bar and dancing place. As there were a lot of persons present, temperature was quite high and combined with the high humidity it was quite uncomfortable. I asked the barman to increase the air-conditioning or to open a door. He told me hat air-conditioning was already at maximum and the door can not be opened because it is broken.Needless to say, the door was labelled as emergency exit...Any further question?

Nueva gerencia. Amplio y luminoso restaurante en Portugalete recién renovado, con terraza y vistas privilegiadas al mar y al Puente Colgante. Ofrece una experiencia gastronómica moderna y elegante con especial atención en los pequeños detalles.
From the very beginning on the phone we noticed the good servive of the restaurant. Little details make sometimes the difference. We request a table looking to the window in order to admire the view of El Abra, thank you John. It was a nice surprise when we arrived, they had prepared the best seating for us. We enjoyed the daily menu of 18,50â¬, water and a bottle of wine for 2 was included, added to a complimentary croquete, starter , main course and dessert. High quality product and a tasteful presentation in every dish. Great place to celebrate and relax.Thank you so much Adirane for your comment, hoping to see you back again, have a nice day.

Es un restaurante pequeño, junto a los Juzgados y a 5 minutos del BEC (Bilbao exhibition centre). Cuenta con menus, carta y un reservado. It´s a small restaurant, near of court of Barakaldo and 5 minutes walking from BEC (Bilbao exhibition centre). It has
We were visiting the basketball woldcup in Bilbao at the expo center. Due to the crowds there was limited possibility to find good food but Sikera was a great catch. Sikera was good choise for both fathers and teenage sons. Local food, good service and affordable prices. Espesially good memories about Belota ham and nice sommelier Nerea.

We went for lunch. Most restaurants in Europe have menus in English in addition to their native menus. This one did not. We lost a little in the translation. Any small substitutions we asked for were met by the waitress saying "it would be too difficult". So we ended up with some weird concoctions. It was very basic inside too. weill not be back to this one.

After reading the other reviews on Trip Advisor we decided to give Pulcinella a try. We walked 1.25 miles to the location shown on the map on Trip Advisor and on the restaurants own web site only to find it wasn't there. We eventually discovered it was within 100m of where we had started, close to the Puente Colgante. We never got to try the food as the waiter was so rude and unhelpful that we walked out half way through ordering. We will never go there again.

The Tamarises Izarra Restaurant is located on the 1st floor of the Tamarises building, and offers Basque cuisine in a bright and relaxed environment by the sea in Getxo.
What a marvelous restaurant! We visited Bilbao for a wedding which then held their reception at this really nice spot. Right on Bilbaoâs beach with gorgeous sunsets most nights, this restaurant excels in providing yummy, exquisite food. Over three days, we ate a late lunch and a dinner in the dining room, and then were treated to a 6-course feast at the wedding reception. Every meal, every item served was well prepared, presented nicely, and was wonderfully tasty. We are planning a cruise that will see us in Bilbao next spring and we WILL eat here again! If you have the option for a place to eat in the area surrounding Bilbao, choosing Tamarises Izarra will make you very happy!

We took a day trip out of Bilbao and stopped at this place after reading TripAdvisor reviews. It is just a neighbourhood bar but the food was great. There are pintxos for â¬1 on the bar but we went for raciones including delicious and perfectly cooked solomillo and lovely muscles cabredos in a spicy sauce. A real surprise and highly recommended.
