Quartier Bilbao Hostel is located in one of the most emblematic areas of Bilbao, in the heart of the old town (Casco Viejo); a pedestrian area, only 50 m from Ribera´s Market, 100m from Santiago´s Cathedral and 120 m from Plaza Nueva. It is surrounded by commercial stores and restaurants, very close to areas of atmosphere. You can savour the famous “Pintxos” and get lost in the charming little streets of the old town. Quartier Bilbao offers quality, yet affordable fun. Built in a legendary building in the Old Town, a Fabric Store. To retain this important link with the past, the authentic architectural style has been preserved, giving space to an industrial design boutique hostel. Therefore, it combines style and design, but also comfort as if you were in a hotel, but with the price and social atmosphere of a hostel. The Hostel offers modern facilities and an informal atmosphere. Other shared facilities available at Quartier Bilbao Hostel include a rooftop terrace and a kitchenette.
Pretty good enviroment, everything was so clean and confortable. Breakfast are really good too. The staff help us in a lot of things too like restaurant recomendations, places to visit, ways to go to the airport, they were so nice :). Highly recomended.

This is a clean and safe place close to the metro and only a 15 min walk from the Guggenheim museum of Bilbao. I slept in a room with 4 beds and my roommates were all kind and respectful. The hostel reception was always ready to answer questions and address any issue. Highly recommended

Featuring free WiFi throughout the property and including breakfast in the price, Lekeitio Aterpetxea Hostel offers accommodation in Lekeitio, 43 km from San Sebastian and 36 km from Bilbao. Every room has a private bathroom. An array of activities is offered in the area, such as horse riding, cycling and diving.
We stayed here for one night on our backpacking tour of the Basque Country. We LOVED it! The host was super friendly and nothing was too much trouble. He showed us the best parts of the town to see and even made us breakfast in the morning! He also phoned a bus company to confirm the bus time I had seen online just to check that we could leave safely! We will definitely return if we are ever in Lekeitio again and we cannot recommend this place enough! One word of advice tho- do let them know in advance if you don't speak Spanish! It's a husband and wife team but he doesn't speak much English. (Not a problem for us but it might be for some)

The main mission of "Koikili Aterpetxea" is to offer our customers the opportunity to share unforgettable experiences, always from the perspective of enjoying tourism in an active and innovative way. Our facilities are suitable for everyone, including the disabled people. We offer diverse and independent services, different hosting models, relaxation room, multipurpose room, buffet breakfast, slow food meals, physiotherapy room, beauty, tattoos... Our rooms can be shared or private. We have 3 dormitories, called Presazelai, Olazar and Iluntxo (rivers and forests surrounding Otxandio). In them, despite following the hostel bunk bed format, we wanted to draw attention to two important issues. First, limit the maximum capacity to 6 people per room. Furthermore, we have emphasized the comfort and convenience by offering large beds (1,05x190) and including in the price of the bed the use of towels and disposable slippers. We also offer private rooms, called Gorbea and Anboto, in honor of these two great mountains that make our environment a wonderful place. They are luxury rooms, comparable to rooms of 4 and 5 star hotels. Gorbeia is fully adapted for disabled people, both the bathroom and the space needed to move with a wheelchair. In the case of the Anboto room, it should be noted, in addition to its benefits, the long and lovely balcony, which offers stunning views. The panoramic view extends from the main square to the cross of Mount Saibain (Urkiola), witness of fierce battles during the civil war, and Andicona Square, victim of the brutal bombardment of the 22nd July, 1936, during the local festivities. Beyond this, both rooms have surprising and modern lighting and decoration. The two rooms are ideal for couples seeking to deepen their relationship, without no one to intervene in their communication, only the sound of silence of a town who sleeps deeply at night.
Second time we spend a few days in the Gorbea room, and won’t be the last. The owners are super nice. The room is a perfect mix between luxury and rural. A hostel room that could be 4/5 stars hotel room. If you want to know the real basque culture, far from the tourist focus, Otxandio is the place to be. See you soon Koikili Aterpetxea!!!

We are a new Hostel in Bilbao, in the district of Begoña, ALL IRON HOSTEL, located on the same road north of Santiago at the entrance of Bilbao next to the Basilica of Begoña. A new style of accommodation for 84 guests in rooms for 4, 6, 8 and 10 guests, feminine room, individual lockers with electrical outlet, equipped kitchen, entrance 24 h, breakfast included, vending machines, free wifi, large common rooms , accessibility, easy long distance communications, free parking area, etc. But above all splendid views over Bilbao and its mountains. 15 minutes from Casco Viejo (walk), 8 minutes from the meters Santutxu (Zabalbide) and the Old Town, 10 minutes from Loiu airport by motorway, and 4 minutes from the entrance to the motorway towards Santander, San Sebastián and Burgos, and more than 10 bus lines (including night lines) to 100 meters.
It is absolutely impossible to sleep, so please if you are doing Saint James Way (el camino De Santiago) on foot, by bike or just only need to sleep try to arrange another accommodation. Staff is willing to help but there is no one in the reception after 23 sharp

A bit overpriced for a very basic room /70euro/, with thin walls. The equipment is poor and no internet connection, -almost- clean, but not a friendly pension. That is ok, that no breakfast, but simolar places in Spain give the guest some coffee, or tea possibilities. Not here. Not a big problem, but it would be a nice gesture...

This is a bar, restaurant, gym and hotel so it is confusing at first. Don't bother buzzing the hotel there is an abandoned desk. Just go to the bar. Because they have so much going on there can be long waits to check in/out or buy breakfast. Some employees admitted they didn't know how to operate the hotel related things and just gave up checking us in. They just gave us keys and went back to bar tending. It was clean and quiet and buying breakfast downstairs was nice. So no major complaints. Other reviews said they were friendly but we didn't see it.

This was great value considering that accommodation is expensive in this region. It is very close to the main bus station when arriving to Bilbao although it is an uphill walk. You'll be happy about this if you having some evening drinks outside here as this is a great view of the city. Breakfast is simple but an added bonus for the price. It includes orange juice, bread and rolls which can be toasted, jams, pastries and cakes. The staff are really helpful and friendly too.
