La Trattoria-Pizzeria-Bar"Del Barcarolo" vi propone cucina casereccia, primi piatti fatti in casa, specialità alla brace, pizza di ogni tipo, menù di pesce fresco solo su ordinazione. Organizzazione di compleanni ed eventi. Vi aspettiamo.
I love this place. Have eaten here twice and it was consistently top notch. The atmosphere is friendly and cozy. The hostess, carla, is very simpatica and cares about quality ingredients. The typical lazio dishes are delicious but so is the meat and the way the vegetables are prepared makes them all yummy. So fresh.

Rich menu of pizza to soy, with special ingredients and combinations, good beer and good wine, friendly atmosphere makes Porcelli Tavern a unique place. Enjoy!
Ate here on our first night in the area, went back the following week and then had our final night here. Why? Great food at reasonable prices. This place isn't fancy. It is unpretentious, child friendly and welcoming. The pizzas are great and there are a massive variety. The mixed starter platter is only 10 euros, is huge and has a host of tasty goodies on it. The pizzas are between 4.50-7 euros. There are no Italian beers but they carry a selection of imported beers. There are basic local wines and a limited menu if you do not want pizza. Service is good and you will leave full, happy and with enough money left in your wallet to think about eating out again rather than staying in and cooking. Well worth a visit.

While visiting friends in the area, they recommended this hotel, and it was a terrific suggestion. We stayed for two nights in early May and (as advised to do) asked for a room with a view. In room 207 we got what we asked for, a comfortable, clean, en suite room with a great view over the Umbrian country side. The hotel, partially located in an old monastery, is located on the main street and close by there are shops and a great bar/café under the arches (a distinguishing feature of this village) with a view in the other direction out its back patio. Nearby is an amazing Roman ruin, which indicates that this was a very large Roman town, over-looking the upper reaches of the Tiber river. Entry to the ruins (a forum and a theatre are surprisingly intact and more is being excavated) is free and worth a detour for those so inclined. The hotel's Continental+ breakfast was entirely satisfactory. There is also a very nice-looking dining room and outdoor dining area that we did not try as we were eating with friends. The owner is entirely charming and helpful and speaks very good English

Nice place to eat. The most restaurants in Giove have older guest, here there is a younger public and more little kids. The food is good and not expensive. The ambiance is nice. After dinner there is music (pub). The staff is nice and sweet for children.

Il nome Movida gli si addice molto. Non finisce mai di stupire. Simpatico il proprietario e altrettanto i collaboratori. Abbiamo mangiato enormi hamburger. Ottimi. Buona musica e tanto divertimento sino a tarda sera. Consigliamo vivamente.
This Pizzeria/Forno in Orte is really good. It is family run and they could not be more helpful. They will also deliver the food to their house. The lasagna is particularly good. It is located opposite the hospital in Orte. Would definitely recommend. Caroline

Unique ambiance, menu rich of local and regional dishes, all 8 persons at my table were well please with what they ordered, well presented, simple and delicious. Wine selection also good, and the house wine for a change just as good as some of the more expensive bottles. Service was not rushed, efficient and courteous. The price was well proportioned to the quality and service. I will return

They say all the streets lead to Rome. What they did not say though is that if you leave the motorway at Orte (40 mins form Rome) you literally jump into Ristorante Tevere, a simple and cosy place run by Augusto's family. The place is not exactly elegant or new, but what you get is great value for money. Food is genuine and local and they use tasty ingredients that are nowadays hard to find in a restaurant. Ask for their steak and you will not be disappointed!!! One of the best 'bistecche' I had in a wile! Service is fast, place is clean and the prices are low ( but do not tell them!) ...
