Siamo una Ristorante Stagionale il nostro periodo di apertura va dai primi di Aprile a fine Settembre.
The seafood antipasti was quite good, the rest not so much. As a first course I had ravioli with meat sauce, which were alright, but nothing special. For the main course I chose salmon with three different crusts, which sounds good, but was not in practice. The fish was quite dry and the crusts (sesame and different nuts) completely overwhelmed the flavor of the salmon. It wasn't terrible, but I was nevertheless disappointed.

The food was very good: fresh ingredients, well prepared, traditional Italian, well presented and tasty. The service was good (not great). The restaurant was about 25% full yet the staff struggled and were not fully attentive to all. Gone are the days when waiters were well trained and managed professionals who were accommodating and anticipated diners needs. Would I return to dine here? Yes. Would I recommend it? Yes. (There are not many great choices in Tarquinia.)

We needed a place close to the port of Civitivecchia as we were leaving for our cruise. This town looks out at the sea with farms and olive groves below. This restaurant seems like itâs popular with locals. The service and townspeople in general are very friendly. I had a delicious local pasta made with flour and water, called pici. It was tossed with cherry tomatoes, olives, fresh basil and olive oil. Simple but packed with flavor. My husband had pork with eggplant parmigiana. He quite enjoyed it as they also made it with buffalo mozzarella, just for him. My son had chicken wrapped in bacon. He found the chicken a bit chewy. Some of the restaurants in this town are heavy with meat and seafood. There was one pub and a pizzeria that we saw. But we wanted a sit down restaurant that had meat/fish AND veg options. This was the place for us. Our server was so generous but he offered to serve us complementary Amaro Etruscanâ a local liquor that is a digestive. When people want to share what theyâre passionate about, it makes for a special moment. And this was one such moment. All the good points of being in a smaller community can be enjoyed at this restaurant. Very friendly, joyful to see travelers, and good food!

Much better pizza in cheap german restaurants. No time to eat antipasti. Cheap ham with taste of old. Horrible quality of sea food.
