We went out of total goodluck to this small but exquisit little restaurant/pizzeria!We were spending the weekend here,and just walked in.The food was amazing,portions were good,the ingredients superfresh...the Pizza zucchini mozarella was to die for!We also had desserts which were heavenly!no regrets whatsoever...and the bill was very reasonable(especcially for someone like me coming from Rome where all is to pricy for rather poor quality!

We ate mid week when the restaurant was quite but the sea food pasta first plate was excellent and the scampi and gamberoni grilled second plate exceptional .the chef is passionate about producing high quality food fresh that day from local fisherman.If you love good seafood and are in this area this is the place to go.

osteria & cucina la torre cucina stagionale is actually located at 21/22 Viale Garibaldi but the web-site only refers to the adjacent premises-maybe part of the same establishment. This delightful spot is located on the corner of the intersection- leading into the old town one way- or round the walled town on Viale Garibalde the other. There is outdoor seating under a verandah but we ate in as it was very hot. The staff were terrific. The food was very authentic- we shared a pasta with seafood ragu- delicious. The place was packed with locals and had a real buzz. Recommended.

We liked the place a lot with kids. They serve great pizzas as well as sea food. Proscutto con melone was great, so was the carpaccio di spada(sword fish), octopus salad. The main course of grilled dorada and othe grilled sea food were great, served nicely. We tried local wine from the area that was a mix of trebbiano and chardonney- very refreshing! Sorbetti and cheesecake were great too. Parking is nearby, the place is easy to find. Located right on e beach, so you can enjoy the views and sounds of the sea. Friendly staff! The food is amazing, The owners are really friendly and the atmosphere is great. Maybe the best food we had so far in Italy. No problems for vegetarian food. We really loves this place. You feel like home when you are there, but the food tastes better!

My husband and I have been eating here for years and travel from Rome just to eat here. On special occassions, we call in advance and order the fish soup filled with the freshest fish you can find. The house antipasto is the best way to start off a meal here which offers a large variety of seafood items to start with. We have tried the pasta, grilled seafood, fish in the oven and many side dishes. The menu offers a lot for people who don't eat seafood like some of our friends. We always reserve in advance since the restaurant is always full. I feel at home here!!! The owners and staff go out of their way to make everyone comfortable. A must!!!!

I can strongly recommend this restaurant. The food is delicious and the chef will simply not allow anything else than a perfect dish to be sent to your table! Beautiful presentation of the dishes and a constantly changing menu. High quality of the ingredients, a great chef and good service, make a lunch or dinner at Pira to a perfect and tasteful experience. We had several meals here during our Easter holiday in Montalto di Castro and plan to go back in the future.
