If you come across "cipolla di Tropea"-flavored gelato, you might worry that you’ve forgotten your Italian… or are losing your mind. Don’t fret. "Cipolla" does mean onion, and yes, that is indeed onion gelato. The local red onions are so popular that they’ve even made it into dessert. My husband and I went here for dinner. We each ordered a pizza and weâre very pleased with both the size and the flavor! The staff was friendly and they have beautiful seating both inside and outside! They also have WiFi! We definitely recommend!

Generally - good. Parmigiana di melanzane - delicious. Tagliatelle alla bolognese - very good. Very specific Staff. First - when we came, nobody was in the restaurant. I asked the waitress "are you open ?". She answered "I don't know". After the consultation with kitchen (7.10 p.m.) - "We're open". Second - during our visit, the waiter approached when we ask only. No self-realiant interest. But in by opinion there aren't their fault. Probabely nobody told them, what's going on in this profession and what does it mean "customer orientation". Pity that the owner doesn't care for Staff qualifications and skills.

We were here for three times. Every visit we've ordered pizza... everytime it was very good, especially I would recommend a capricciosa. The staff is friendly, but what we did not like is a slow staff. It took 10minutes when they noticed you need something, then took ten minutes when you received a bill, then took 10minutes until you got money back.. when you get a bill, check the line "pane" - "bread" it costs 3euro, also when you did not order it and did not received it... every visit. I think that if we had not better cooking restaurant in nearby, we would not return...

I was unfortunately not happy with my dinner at this restaurant. I went here by myself and firstly I had to ask to have my candle lit on the table when everyone else's was lit. Secondly I asked to have my filetto di manzo rare and it came in well done. When it was time to pay I left 40 euros (il conto was 32) and didn't receive any change. Killen sa bara ok tutto bene cosi? Jag then insisted for my change and they looked irritated and raised eyebrows when I took the money and left. If I am to leave a 25% tip I want to decide for myself. Last visit to this restaurant for me.

Wow, what a great place for lunch. The service here is off the charts good, they helped my wife and I out of a jam and then treated us exceptionally well for lunch. I had fresh grilled fish, caught that morning and it was melt in your mouth good while my wife had a mixed fried seafood and the calamari and shrimp were some of the best that she had. The white Vino Locale (house wine) was a perfect pairing for the seafood. Will be heading back down for Lunch tomorrow morning!

We had an amazing dinner at That's Amore. I ordered the pasta with burrata, prawn, and pistachio. It was incredible! The service was just as good as the food. We were a party of 13 and accommodated perfectly. We were even given complimentary prosecco upon sitting at our table. Our server Giuseppe was fantastic as well! Great experience.

We had a very nice meal here while visiting Tropea. It is tucked away and yet clearly popular so you may have to book in advance at busy times. We had a couple of courses each and some wine and water. Food was very good and service pleasant. We had a good meal in a nice setting.Cost was â¬47 which was reasonable.

Restaurant, fast food. Here you can taste home made meatballs, vegetarian, chianina and angus sandwiches, meat cutting.
Arrived at 2:15 with my husband, a first waiter invited us to sit down but a second one refused to serve us saying âitâs closedâ when other people were waiting for their food. On internet it is supposedly open 24h. I understand the heat, but this attitude does not correspond to the good reviews we saw.

We would like to try the best (Tripadvisor) pizza in Tropea, but were a bit disappointed by the cremated crust we received. The cheese and filling was also very running. The (friendly) waiter just pulled up his shoulder and said something about the oven.. The taste of my pizza gorgonzola and the part that was not burned was very tasty though. The quattro stagioni was not very special.I can not give more than 2 stars for this, sorry.
