Our first night in Verona we ate at La Griglia. One of us had the lamb cutlets and the other steak. Wow! The lamb was so tender and perfectly cooked. The steak was cooked with rock salt and rosemary and served rare as requested. It was one of the nicest steaks Iâve had. The service was very good and the wine selection excellent. We had a local red, which went perfectly our meal. It was lovely to sit outside on a warm evening.

I have been here a couple of times now. The steaks are really nice, and come with a platter of different salts to use on it. There is a nice wine selection available and some good Argentine beers too.The staff are fast and friendly. The prices are fairly reasonable but on the high end of reasonable moving into expensive.Thanks for coming back to our restaurant. See you soon !!!Pablo

Been here a few times. Excellent farm to table beef. Very copious servings. Chateaubriand and filet are mouth watering. Excellent prosciutto. Do order sides of vegetables, mostly roasted with sage, rosemary. Desserts are worth it. Excellent service especially for large tables. 20⬠from town in taxi.Come hungry for steak, that is the deal.

We were wandering in Verona and stumbled upon this tratoria by accident at lunch time. It looked authentic enough: only Italians inside on their lunch break and most staff didn't speak English at all (in a touristic city I find this are good signs for authentic food). Moreover, it's located a bit out off the main tourist area. And boy, did we hit the jack pot: food was delicious, local specialties (like horse meat dishes) and the atmosphere was one of the most Italian ever. We just loved it!

A five night stay in fair Verona and we had dinner twice in a row at this excellent restaurant. The service, under the keen supervision of Salvatore was deft, warm and personal. We came back for the Tagliatelle with Tartufo that melted in your mouth and lingered gently on your palate. Desserts are to die for.So if perchance, you find yourself in fair Verona, do yourself a favor and treat yourself to Il Cenaculo.
