Locale piccolino ma accogliente, rumoroso e affollato. Perfetto per un aperitivo al volo in piedi mangiando qualcosina al bancone. Formula drink&buffet mangi dai fritti alla pasta a snack secchi. Carichi i cocktail.

The restaurant itself is very beautiful and the staff is quite nice. Menu selection is limited. The food is good. Prices are high and the quantity of food is small. We had meatballs and polenta. There were three meatballs and the price was â¬10. The restaurant is owned by a the Buglioni winery and serves their wines. The wines are not bad and you can buy bottles to take home. Again, in my view, the wines are overpriced.Dear Joel R, thank you for taking the time to leave us a review on Trip Advisor. Always saw the parking lot of this place full so decided to try it out. The food was terrible, the service was extremely slow and the place itself looks so sad and dated, I wouldnt recommend it.

In the Lake District one finds fish restaurants and, because of the reviews we went to Il Gargano. A bit more formal setting than many in the area, but the service was attentive. The fish dishes were very good but, unfortunately, the antipasti came from jars.

Good local wine list. Sea bass and sole beautifully cooked. Fabulous pudding..tiramisu was wonderful. Homemade bread and breadsticks...Fabulous bottle of ripasso to wash everything down.Great service, nice ambience and very reasonably priced for the quality.

And we saw some of the same patrons from the night before. Pizza was never cooked and served faster, in my experience in Italy. We had too much the first night both of us had two courses and we couldn't finish it all. Had turkey and ham entrees plus I had gnocchi. Excellent cooking and preparation. We spied the pizzas and came back the next night for them. Not disappointed at all. I'd pass on the house red. The second night we bought wine by the glass. It was fine.Thanks a lot,we're happy to know that our restaurant is appreciated.Best regards.

This is a traditional restaurant which pays attention to what they cook. The Pizza Boscaiola was perfect and so was the pasta Calamarta. Ristorante Don Giulio is the epitom of an Italian Osteria. Nice inviting place with a garden, warm and tasteful decor in the dining room and of course the signatrure of an Italian osteria- the chequered tableclothes. Serving a large group simoultaneously is not easy, and still the attentive staff managed to do it for a group of 32 in an efficient and friendly manner. Food has been typical Italian, from antipasto, to fresh tasty pasta, fish and meat, accompanied by local red and white wines. Makes one crave to pay another visit shortly.

We had not booked in advance, but they were happy to serve us dinner. Ristorante Cavour specializes in local and traditional cuisine, which we like. The starters we had were prepared with love and on the premises. Great flavors! One of the options is to choose meats from the trolley, so I had to try this for my main course. When they came out with the trolley, there was so much to choose from, and they are generous with the amount of meat one can have. Great food and a nice way to serve it, since you don't have to choose, you can have it all! Deserts and coffee were wonderful. We bought a jar of their home made salsa verde, which was too good not to take it home. Service was informal yet polite, friendly, knowledgeable and professional.

Unusual location out on edge of Villafranca town and a bit basic inside. However, food was great and friendly, quick service made up for tv blaring out! Nice steak and good value.
