We had a delightful dinner with friends at this roadhouse pizzeria. The place was packed with locals and travelers as it was during the World Cup playoffs. The service was good and the pizza was very good. I would recommend it.

While driving from wineries to wineries in the amazing Amarone region, we came across this little place that our friend Michelangelo had suggested (if you want to eat well in Italy, ask the locals). The love birds at the entrance did announce us in and we were seated in no time by the always courteous service man. We found the place to be quite lovely and the fact of encountering local tenants did tell me that we were in the right place. We did order as usual the local fare and again was not disappointed to try incredible rich and delightful tasting new plates, especially those not found anywhere else. We decided to ask for their advise regarding the wine and sure enough, the bottle was emptied before departing the place. We were very satisfied with food, service and ambiance, so definitely would like to be back again.

My husband and I spent 4 days eating and drinking our way through the Valpolicella area and although every meal was delicious, this was the most memorable. The weather was terribly stormy and we called ahead to see if the restaurant was still open for lunch as it was getting a little late. It is a little drive up hairpin curves with no visibility and it took us a while to get there. Natalia, the owner, speaks no English and some German. We speak very little Italian. She greeted us very warmly and cheerfully, brought us some delicious wine. I mentioned I love rabbit so she brought us fresh homemade pasta with rabbit, which was amazingly good. She also gave us a delicious salad and brought out a cart to make us a Steak braised in Amarone wine, a very typical dish. She gave me a glass of Amarone to have with the steak. (my husband was driving!) while the meal was superb, she really made the experience so delightful. It was a terrific lunch enjoyed in a warm atmosphere while the weather howled outside. We chatted with her for a while, and as we left, she gave us a hug and a bottle of wine on the house. She is truly an excellent hostess and chef. I'd fly back just to eat there if I won the lottery and i would take all of my friends.

Excellent food, great service, outdoor and indoor seating. great wine list! We ate there twice and it was all very good. The building in which it is situated is very interesting, part of the complex of the Villa owned by the Quaranta family. The small family Church is worth a visit, ask your waiter if it can be arranged.Dear Buz51,thank You for Your feedback, it is a pleasure for us to learn that Your experiences with us have been up to expectations. We are glad You appreciated our location and quality of our services and You had the chance to taste flavours and wines of our land! The restaurant is not open from 6th to 23rd November 2017. It will open on 24th November 2017. Thank you
I did not expect such a good fish restaurant in the hills of the Valpolicella region, and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the dishes and the variety of the menu, including appropriate white wines from nearby (we very much enjoyed the Lugana, from the nearby Garda). The outside terrace has a splendid view on the vineyards downhill all the way to Lake Garda. Food was very good, service friendly and efficient, and the only music were the crickets in the countryside. Each of the three of us had a first and second course, we shared appetizer and dessert, with one bottle of wine the bill was â¬160. It was a very pleasant evening in a beautiful place.

We stayed in San Giorgio and this restaurant is just down the hill. We couldn't find a menu on line, so just went for it. It was different, no expected items, like pasta or rice. There were soups, salads, brushetta, sea food type things. While it was good, I think it could have been a bit larger selection. The person serving us was great (Sorry didn't catch his name), overall a good experience.

We recently dined at this lovely restaurant just outside Verona. We were greeted warmly by the owner and the rest of the staff. We are quite big foodies and were looking forward to the evening. Ingredients are sourced locally and simply cooked. We were slightly disappointed with the food as we were expecting a higher standard but the matching wines were very good. Thank you for visiting our restaurant. We are happy to hear that overall you had a lovely evening and enjoyed our service and our wine pairings. But we are disappointed that despite appreciating the local sourcing of our ingredients, you found our food to be a little too handmade, which did not meet your expectations. We value your feedback as it helps us to continually look for ways to improve.

Situated high above Pastrengo, this fort of a restaurant overlooks Lake Garda and wine country. The inside is stunning brick with the design coordinating off little rooms with the hall. This is a large restaurant, apt for parties or just a few people. Busy place. We had the menu di Terre. Very good, especially the raw beef. Wine menu was a bit limited. Plenty of easy parking, follow signs to restaurant when heading to Pastrengo.
