Ok. Iâll start with the positives. The food here is good and the setting is nice. As the title states the service is not good enough.I usually read Tripadvisor reports before I eat in a Restaurant. I didnt this time. I often find it good to read negative reports as well as good to get an over all picture. I also think that the management replies says a lot about a place. In this case the management seem to have an arrogant attitude to negative reports and I expect one to mine here! Even the best Michelin restaurants can make a mistake.Quite simply the service/wait staff are not good enough. We went here 4 times so had enough time to observe. We were staying nearby and kids eat free from a small menu (which is a big attraction). The food tasted good and it was convenient to where we stayed, hence the reason we came back. The first 3 nights were actually not too bad with just some small mistakes by the waiting staff which I wouldnât really criticize them for and on holiday I am usually happy to let things pass.As an example of the small mistakes: on 2 nights we ordered hummus as a starter to eat with the bread but it was brought at the same time as our main courses, we had been very specific on ordering that we wanted it as a starter. On the 2nd night the exact same mistake was made after explaining it even more clearly and saying it was brought out the wrong time before. We didnât really complain as it wasnât a huge issue, just a minor inconvenience. The service wasnât particularly fast or slow, we were on holiday and although we had a hungry small baby we were ok.We also did notice one night the blonde manageress having a row with a waiter next to our table. Not really professional but more of this later! Also we saw neighbouring tables have similar issues with starters coming out at wrong times etc so this haphazard service seems to be an issue.I donât really write negative reviews but felt compelled to do so. There was a power outage on a 35c night. Unlucky to happen and people are generally considerate about this. What isnât acceptable is how the staff tried to deal with it. We were not given any complimentary bread which is fine. What isnât fine is the total lack of communication between waiter and customer, we were literally left guessing as to when we could get our food. This was not a translation issue. All waiters spoke English well and we were simply not given any updates as to how long we would wait - this takes a few seconds. We had a hungry infant and 2 hours waiting with no update is not good enough. if we knew we would be waiting 2 hours we could at least know to go somewhere else - babys dont really understand about power failures!!We left and also didnât want to pay the Coperta and any proper restaurant would waive this as a goodwill gesture as we only had drinks. The male waiter (who was referred to as having the best English) refused and threatened to call police). He eventually relented but was obnoxious and arrogant. We were not looking for a free meal.I have eaten in thousands of restaurants in many countries. The basics of good service is good communication. Message for the manager: if you stop looking for excuses and actually train your staff to be better then you have a great restaurant. Keep criticising your customers who leave a negative review and this will keep happeningDear stephen O,Iâm afraid we are gonna dance this song for a long time. Trip advisor keep taking down your review, you keep post the same speech over and over again. I see your life is not that busy, so pardon my â arrogance â when i tell you that there are stuff that i can not tollerate in my company. Verbally abuse of an employee and of women in general is not one thing i make pass because you have a wallet and i need paying guests to be open.Iâll answer again, for those who donât know your music:1) we had a power outage in early july. Our kitchen and bar producion dropped to a 10% and a 30% , as everything run on electricity- The whole staff worked hard to serve what could be served, fresh drinks and the few things that could be served. Most of the guest got advised about it, but was given priority to serve guests. Some appreciate it. Other complained. I believe that a restaurant going dark, no lights, no ac, no music, it is a per-se indicator that electricity is off. My mistake. Some stuff need to be spelled out for some. 2). A guest verbally abused our floor manager, who accidentally happen to be a woman, as tones where so heated, a waiter came in support of the lady. That is good manner in every country. You saw only the last part of the speech and you felt entitled to fight an online battle for this bad educated guy.3) when a guest leave, for any reason, we ask hin to pay for what he consume. No more, no less. I strongly believe in training, and part of it is â how to deal with abusive costumersâ. Negative review are always a stimulus in growing a successful business. Unfortunately, not all negative reviews are made to better a place, others, like yours, just exist to fill the need to be heard online by 1.000 strangers, in the misguided conviction that their opinion matter. It matter if it can make a difference, better a situation, exposing a trend not perceived by management. A sterile compliant with a strangely persistent rant about how another stranger got treated is not helpful. I hope, if you have a daughter, that she will find a workplace committed to â employee protection â like ours. Iâll signal this review to trip advisor .... again. ( third time now that they take it down ) And iâll Copy paste this response so, as you do, we can keep dance this music without loosing too much time on both hands.Best of everything Fabio Gambini

Went there twice with all the family as we were staying at the Agriturismo Lizzarola inside which the Trattoria is situated. The service was excellent as was the food. We had some perfectly cooked 'Fiorentina' and also the 'tagliata' was great. All accompanied by locally produced wines. Prices are quite reasonable.

The first gourmet reinterpretation of the awesome classical street-food Toast recipe. Many different Toasts next to a selection of carefully selected brands for soft drinks, coffee, beer, wine and bakery.
went there, only us in the whole place, bad sign, ordered 1 toast, 20 min later, the staff, which were more asleep than awake, came with the wrong toast. in the mean time another unlucky customer came, ordered a lemon drink, which took 10 min to arrive, they left it on the table, he was not able to open it, even using his t-shirt, he then went to the bar, waited another 5 min, while the staff were chating, before they opened his drink!!!! i would have leftbad service at a high pricekeep awayThis is surely a review from a competitor, written in english for some unknown reason, from an italian contributor. None from our staff remember him coming in the restaurant and what he is describing simply never happened. Impossible to get the toast wrong in Toasteria because our staff has a digital device to take the orders and they have to re-read every ordering to the customers before sending it to the kitchen. We cannot accept any bad review to our staff, well-knowing their highest value. Concerning the price, the average cost of our meal, which is healthy, of the best quality and very tasty, is around 8 and 13 euros. No less spending is possible for such a food quality. Thanks for giving us the chance to explain our brand to the customers.

Chiusura per ferie dal 6 Novembre al 30 Novembre.
We had dinner here twice during our 5-days-stay because it was soo good and there were so many dishes we needed to try. The setting in the backyard is just beautiful, the staff is exceptionally attentive and accomodating and the food is just outstanding. Authentic and delicious Italian cuisine among touristic places - at reasonable prices. Would come again. And again.

Typicol italian trattoria ,family management since 1997,specialized in risotto. Open all year from 7 pm
We stayed at hotel nearby, Ziba. Tried having meals in there twice, both times selected the Vegetarian option, both times we were told it was off. So we found Osteria Le spine, thankfully we did, service was superb. Didnt have veggie options on their menu, but whenever we went in they would rustle something up, and serve with a smile.Fabulous little find.

On our way towards Dolomiti mountains, we decided to have a lunch break in Peschiera. The weather was quite good and many people were strolling around downtown Peschiera. We decided to visit this restaurant, which was the first time for us, also having read good things about it. Its location is a bit secluded from the lake front, but anyhow it was very easy to reach it. The presented menu was quite attractive, so we have been a bit embarrassed and it took us a few minutes to make our selection, but finally we did it, mainly mollusk/shellfish oriented, which has proved very good. To conclude our meal, we got a lemon sorbet and some "Tozzetti", together with a glass of sweet wine. Good! Price resulted medium/high, anyway in line with the quality of the food.

My husband and I had two delicious fish dishes - both different. And we both loved what we had ordered. The staff were excellent - it was a very busy evening but they were attentive and went out of their way to make our evening special.

The restaurant closed for holidays from November 22nd to December 2nd. Thanks Marco Daniela e Nicolo'
At itâs best, food in Italy is equally simple and full of flavour. We had a light lunch here in which every element was perfect. The best Parma ham I have ever eaten, sliced very finely indeed with possibly also the best burrata and a huge side salad. We were first presented with small bruschette of tomato and avocado which were sensational. On the table alongside the olive oil and balsamic was some balsamic cream which added another layer of luxury. A macchiato came with a few pieces of nutty biscuit in alcohol which made the coffee sing. The staff were delightful, especially the young guy who thought we were German ( as have most people here, bizarrely! ). This simple but outstanding and very reasonably priced lunch will linger long in the memory. If you are in Pescheria take a two minute stroll from the tourist traps in town ( of very variable quality ) and treat yourself in this delightful establishment.

The service in this place is absolutely appalling. The staff clearly donât want to be there. As far as food goes itâs hit & miss. My husband order a mixed fried seafood!!!! Really donât.... unless itâs for comedy value. Everything must just be thrown into the pan together. Some of the pieces couldâve been bounced off the ground it was so over cooked and some of the pieces had been coated & fried whilst still in their shells!!!! So given that there are MANY MANY restaurants around Iâd advise you to just find somewhere else to be honest. The drinks were nice and cold though .... when we eventually got them.
