A beautiful atmosphere, service and food!!We were staying in the hotel so booked into here for the Friday night. A knowledgable sommelier recommended some fabulous wines to accompany our meal and our meal was cooked to perfection!Well recommended! We visited this lovely restaurant on the recommendation of our guide and had a superb afternoon. Ristorante Casale Spighetta is beautifully situated atop a hillside, just outside Verona, with incredible panoramic views. Chef Angelo Zantedeschi came out and personally described his menu which is comprised of fresh local foods. He offers traditional Italian fare influenced by his Middle Eastern culinary experience. We dined on the outside terrace, starting with a beautiful bread basket of warm rolls and grissini. I had a trio of local salami and cheese to start (easily was large enough to share), and then a perfectly prepared sea bass accentuated by fresh yellow mushrooms, while husband dined on gnocchi and a lovely, rich veal dish.We left the wine recommendation up to Chef Angelo and were rewarded with a delicious, and very reasonably priced Volpicella, from a local winery. Decadent chocolate truffles and a small glass of a local liqueur were a perfect end to the meal. We spent two+ hours at the restaurant, and could have spent the entire afternoon sipping wine and enjoying the view. It was definitely the culinary highlight of our trip to Italy.

30 of us descended on this lovely local restaurant for dinner one evening. They catered brilliantly for such a large group, despite the restaurant being full. Varied and extensive menu on offer with kids size portions if required. Staff were on hand, friendly and helpful. Grazie mille per le belle parole arrivederci a presto grazie di nuovo

We had a delightful dinner with friends at this roadhouse pizzeria. The place was packed with locals and travelers as it was during the World Cup playoffs. The service was good and the pizza was very good. I would recommend it.

Excellent food, great service, outdoor and indoor seating. great wine list! We ate there twice and it was all very good. The building in which it is situated is very interesting, part of the complex of the Villa owned by the Quaranta family. The restaurant is in the middle of the vineyards. We had dinner outside on the terrace at dusk. Peace, quiet, beauty, luxurious atmosphere.We chose the 'degustazione' menu, 4 courses matched with 5 wines of the Buglioni Bugiardo estates. Each dish was excellent, refined, nicely mixing traditional cuisine with modern creativeness. And the food-wine match really made each other shine.Service was perfectly refined but not intrusive, staff friendly and knowledgeable. Great way to sample the region's wines, including Ripasso and Amarone, and treat yourself to a refined and romantic evening.

How very pleasing to find such a quality restaurant close by to your holiday villa!! We went here to eat two nights in a row!!! Staff are highly professional, friendly and helpful in relation to regional wine. The restaurant is part of the Vigna 800 wine making enterprise and offer a lovely range of their own and other wines. Dishes are very fresh, cleverly crafted based in tradition, generous and very tasty. We thought it all very good value and were pleased with all aspects of food, wine and service. we obviously had dinner while staying at Ca dei Maghi overnight. The owner combines a restaurant with local dishes and his native production of olive oil and wine. Find a variety of starters, PRimi or Secondi that respects local tradition with some creative modifications. Not too much, just right. Dishes are sometimes are sometimes simple but very delicious, for instance the bruschetta with parma and local honey. Or the tagliata grilled according to your specific taste with salvia. The wine menu obviously lists the owner's wine red or white (together with a selection of other Italian and abroad products) but also offers wine by glass and this makes it interesting in different directions. Choose a blend, classico or amarone per course of your menu. And along with that you decide which wine is selected to go in your car trunk and your private cellar at home. If you stay at Fumany, it is a must to turn into Ca de Maghi, however, a lot of Italians come quite a few kilometers on the road in order to enjoy an evening here.
