We visited this place during our honeymoon not expecting anything particular. It has been a very nice surprise: excellent food, crazy large portions, everything fresh and tasty. The service was outstandingly nice. This is not fine dining by definition, but it competes with that. If you want to break away a bit from snobbish places where you need a magnifier to find your food on the plate, this place is a very good choice. Lively (unlike the rest of the village), there are some local people, some of them actually just hang in to watch the pizza maker working. Circa half of the menu is fish, the rest is "earth goods" which include mushrooms, meat etc. Very nice experience.

Stopped in for a quick refreshment and got a very warm welcome. Nice atmosphere with log burner stove keeping it cosy. We only had a bowl of chips and some drinks but their hot chocolate is excellent. Canât comment on rest of food but all the other diners looked happy.

We ate here on two evenings. Attentive service, sensible prices, nice food, attractive terrace. Probably the most popular place in town so, if you want to eat on the terrace, especially at weekends, then advance booking would be sensible. Balsamic vinegar alert! If you don't like it then say so as some dishes come pre-blathered.

Pizza in tutte le salse. Bella l'idea di poter scegliere impasti di pizza particolari in alcuni giorni della settimana e con ingredienti del territorio come la paletta di Coggiola. Il tutto in un ambiente semplice e casalingo.

We were touring Europe (well, the Alps anyway) and found ourselves at a fabulous little campsite right opposite this restaurant. I'll admit that I wasn't expecting much, but it really was the best pizza I have ever eaten. We shared a starter and we're glad we hadn't had one each when our pizzas arrived; they were huge, as well as being absolutely delicious, cooked in a traditional oven at the front of the restaurant. What's more it was incredible value for money; we had wine, beer, a starter and two main courses for just â¬30!Don't be put off by the outside appearance, just go in, sit down and enjoy!

Peccato perché i ragazzi sono gentili ma in settimana a pranzo ( ti dicono che c'è il menu del giorno ) spendere 33 euro per una pizza, un secondo senza contorno, un dolce e 2 caffè è veramente troppo. Coperto 2,50 e caffè 1,50...manco fossimo in centro a Milano. Qui, in settimana, con 15 euro a testa hai un menu completo e ti offrono anche l'amaro. Adios

the place is simple, in the middle of everything. the pizza is very good, and also traditional dishes and food is tasty and delicious. the place remember home fireplace, personnel is kind, reservation is not an option! if you don't book you eill not eat.but.... to wait is neverending.
Proprio buona! Tra le pizze ordinate ne abbiamo presa una alle melanzane, erano fritte, per me una novità . Non vedo l'ora di riordinarla nei prossimi giorni, decisamente consigliabile!

This is pretty little restaurant in the Sermenza valley. Excellent, friendly service and a small but interesting menu - although we didn't ask for it, an English translation was provided. Really good cooking and presentation. We liked our first lunch so much we went back again. A really enjoyable experience. Highly recommended.
