Nice, intimate and cozy place: just 20 (or less!!) seats. The food is very well done: I suggest the Capelunghe gnocchetti. Very tasty and with a personality. The manager and the waiter are very friendly and professional. Price: around 50⬠/pax with wine and dessert.

Chanced upon this restaurant and was roundly impressed by not only the delicious food but also their sincere service. In my 4 days in Venice Iâve had several unpleasant encounters with other restaurants which slapped me with hefty service charges not indicated in menu, pushy waiters who pressured us into ordering expensive dishes and giving us bad attitude when rejected, the list goes on. I was so glad to have found Ca Dolfin which serves tasty, hearty Italian food at reasonable prices, so I returned for a second visit. In our two visits we tried out different offerings - seafood pasta, squid ink pasta, grilled steak, lobster pasta and octopus salad. All tasted great, but I especially recommend the octopus salad - octopus was fresh and succulent, it was easily the best dish Iâve had in my entire 16-day Italy trip! I ordered the lobster pasta under the recommendation of the waiter and indeed lobster was also very fresh. Prices were extremely reasonable considering the quality and freshness, and cover charge was only 2 Euro per pax. (: the complimentary limoncello at the end of the meal was a very nice touch too! Iâll definitely be back here again on my next visit to Venice.

Two yeras since our last visit, La Colombina retains its reputation as one of our favourite restraurants in Venice. Under the supervision of the charming owner Adriana we tried the seafood tasting menu which included several chichetta apetizsers with a distinct Oriental influence, showing that the restaurant is willing to innovate when it comes to flavours. The wine was as reliable and the service as friendly as always.
