Nice japanese all you can eat restaurant with vegan options clearly labelled on the menu: miso soup, vegetable dumplings, spring rolls, edamame, hoso maki with cucumber, uramaki with avocado, carrot and cucumber, vegetable tempura, noodles with vegetables, rice with vegetables, tofu with vegetables and a few other dishes.Staff was friendly, dishes came out extremely quickly at the beginning. Once the restaurant got fuller service slowed down a little. Food was good, overall a nice experience.

Asian fusion.Japanese and Chinese
I visit this restaurant very often because of kind waiters and good dishes.I eat every time raw fish that is prepared at the moment.Even if it is an "All you can eat" restaurant the fish is very good and provided daily (in fact one time, at the end of the dinner, they informed customers that salmon was finished). It is not a very big restaurant so the reservation is recommended specially on Saturday evening. When you order a lot of different Japanese dishes, the cooks prepare special decorations with vegetables.
MIZU was founded in 2011 in Calcinate del Pesce (Varese) in via Ettore Ponti, 126, near the lake of Varese. In December 2016 MIZU becomes MIZUgroup and opens a second restaurant and lounge bar in Venegono Inferiore (Va) in via F.lli Kennedy 19 and in June

I can tell you just that this restaurant has a good potential, but I am afraid they will not develop it. I hope this restaurant can hear our suggestions. When you enter there is missing the most important element for restaurant - ambience. Strong cold neon light does not let you to relax. As usual I will try to be as objective as possible. Good things:- fresh good quality- separate rooms for your company- sake tartar absolutely to try- good priceThings to improve:- light- service (service was indeed slow and often not attentive so there is a risk you don't get what you have ordered)- entrance (used boxes of the fish are not very presentable when they are situated in very entrance of the restaurant

Recommended by friend. Yesterday we went to here for dinner. Here is my personal comment:1. Sushi - so fa so good2. Hot food (pad thai) - not bad3. Dim sum - food not hot enough4. Shrimp grill - grilled but serve on cold to customers 5. Staff service - aggressive If you ask me if i come to visit again... sorry...hehe

We went there three times, and never have been disappointed. But you need to book especially on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening. We took japanese ravioli, chinese ravioli, small sushi plate (12x), mixed tempura (3 shrimps and some vegetables), 8x rolls, fried melanzane stuffed with meat, a bottle of chardonnay, 2 espressos: 70 Euros totally, which is fair since the quality of food was good. The staff is really friendly and available for explanations on food, and at the end a small glass of limoncello or liquor is offered. The big advantage compared to othe Japanese in Lavena Ponte Tresa is that it is centrally located, 100m from the Swiss border.Try it, you will not be disappointed.

chinese, Japanese food
As North Americans, we are accustomed to Chinese food being relatively inexpensive. This is not the case in Ticino (Switzerland), and we can never get used to the prices. Ponte Rosso is a quick trip over the border into Italy from Switzerland, and the food is better than we've found in Lugano. We order the Hot and Sour Soup (Zuppa Agropiccante) and Fried Dumplings (Ravioli Brasati) every time, and then experiment with everything else. We've actually found their sushi to be better than the Chinese food.In the six years we've lived here, we've gone to this restaurant at least twenty times. They're great for large groups and also for families with kids.

A truly wonderful Birthday meal with friends in the Upper salon. Food incredible, so fresh and beautifully presented . The Staff were excellent bot in their professional manner and friendliness. I would just like to mention that it might be a good idea to have the menu in German and possibly English. There is such a variety of food and if one is not speaking Italian it could be confusing.

It's a good place. Good choice of food...I guess huge but what we ate was very good and it's not pricy at all.People are friendly. Nothing to complain about it. Chinese so, yes greasy as you would expect. There's some thai food as well which we didn't try so can't tell.
