decor lacking , but pizza and ingriedients used are great. We visited 4 times and pizza was always top notch....a bit more selection would be nice though.

This is a very casual but nice wine bar in the center of Gallarate about 10 km. from the Malpensa Airport.The owners of the wine bar are very warm and friendly and will cater to the needs of the guests that arrive either for a drink, or whip up a nice dish of pasta. Just walk in and ask Michele, the owner of the wine bar, to prepare a dish for you with what he has in his fridge at that moment. They have a very nice wine selection, and prepare a buffet aperitif each night so you can snack on something while talking to the other guests that are relaxing after a long days work.They sometimes have music in the summer and have a nice patio where you can relax and enjoy the atmosphere. The price is reasonable and service is very good.

Barbaresco is quintessence of the Aperitifs in Town! Good crowd and nice service and a variety of different spirits and cocktails offered!!!!! Of course for not italian residents Sprits is a must or with Cinzano or Aperol!!!! Let's try it!

Personale gentilissimo, locale accogliente, il barman fa dei drink ottimi, basta dargli qualche indicazione (dolce/aspro e qualche preferenza sulla frutta da utilizzare) e ti tira fuori un drink coi fiocchi! Per l'aperitivo ci sono 3 formule, con 3 differenti prezzi: aperitivo "base" con 10 stuzzichini (già un bell'aperitivo, con focaccia, salumi, formaggi, insalata di riso etc etc), quello intermedio con una seconda portata di 10 stuzzichini "gourmet" (riso venere, fritture, pizzette fritte...) oppure il terzo che comprende anche un primo piatto dalla cucina. Nel complesso un aperitivo soddisfacente, in un ambiente piacevole.

La struttura è risultato della ristrutturazione dello storico bar del dopolavoro ferroviario e non ha nulla di particolare, ma dal punto di vista dellâaccoglienza e del cibo la qualità è più alta delle aspettative.Soprattutto la pausa pranzo è speciale. La scelta normalmente è tra panini, insalate e piatti di affettato e bresaola. Una proposta semplice a cui però il pane del giorno, i salumi affettati sul momento, le insalate fresche o le verdure grigliate in giornata, uniti al tocco del titolare nelle preparazioni, danno quel qualcosa in più che rende piacevole scegliere questo bar per pranzare.Prezzo normale per il contesto, molto buono in rapporto alla qualità cibo.
