Judging from it's discreet entrance, one would not have expected to enter into such a cosy and warm atmosphere., with a wide range of excellent beer and tasty pub food. The pub is run by two young men, very enthusiastic about their job, and particularly friendly with very hospitable service. The pub is quite small, so I would recommend a booking especially on the weekends, if you want to pass a few enjoyable hours there.

In pieno centro di Gallarate, in fondo ad una viuzza pedonale, La Taverna del Bucaniere ha ben diritto di dire la sua!Piccolo, su due livelli, arredamento caratteristico che rievoca le scorribande dei bucanieri di cui non a caso si fregia nel nome, offre un'ottima selezione di birre alla spina e in bottiglia, variegato menù tra panini e piadine o stuzzicherie varie con musica rock di sottofondo diffusa al volume giusto.Consiglio vivamente.

Il locale ha tutte le similitudini con un pub irlandese (forse mancano gli odori e il clima irlandese ma non tutto è possibile). Sosta per un aperitivo.Mi dicono che servono un tagliere a parte (il cui costo mi pare di aver visto scritto che fosse di 3 euro).Ok, nel tagliere due gnocchetti fritti, due fette di prosciutto, olive, tre assaggi di mini salsiccia, una bruschetta aglio e pomodoro, due pizzette.Totale = 8 euro.Mi sembra un po' tanto, visto che l'aperitivo era proprio "basic".
