Piccolo locale fax simile a McDonald's, o simili, in cui però anziché panini fanno pizza, con le stesse farciture di cui sopra. Molto buone ma anche molto pesanti, specie se dopo il pranzo si sta sotto il sole cocente del posto!

We had time for a short visit to Cullera today, and as it was a bit rushed I checked Tripadvisor for the best restaurants, so that we could head straight to one without our normal lengthy walk to compare. Number One on the list was Restaurant Dolce Vita, Calle Cabanal, Cullera. We arrived at 2:00 pm, parked virtually outside and headed for the restaurant. Now our instincts are to avoid restaurants that are empty and go for the busy ones, especially ones full of locals. We should have followed our instincts. This restaurant was not only empty but had hardly any lights on inside and no tables laid up outside. Whilst we were turning to head elsewhere a cheerful Frenchman hurried up to us and asked if we would like to sit inside our out. When we requested to sit inside he sped off and put on a few lights in a reasonably pleasant area to the rear. Still no other customers. We ordered for the â¬8,50 menu which didn't include drinks, always thinking that this is the Number One restaurant in Cullera according to Tripadvisor! The whole experience was dire, the food was uninteresting, the service very slow (including having to wait 10 minutes for the oven to get to temperature?!?), the wine we ordered was chilled - never good for red wine, we had to ask for bread as we were so bored waiting for our main courses and even this seemed too taxing for them, as it took 10 minutes to arrive, toasted, as it was clearly not fresh. In the entire time we were there no other diners arrived and we left extremely disappointed. We happened to pass the restaurant about an hour later and to our surprise it was locked and barred. This is a high street location in the peak summer season in Cullera!! Every other bar or restaurant we passed was open and thriving!!All this leaves us with a key question :- Who on Earth rated this place NUMBER ONE in Cullera?!?!?

Delicious ice cream. Service is efficient and friendly. Prices average. At certain times you get free wifi access (early AM and afternoon). Great location for the beach.

We managed to get a last minute table on a Saturday evening and enjoyed a lovely pizza and plate of pasta. House wine is good, service is good, even with a full restaurant. Will visit again when in the area.

Terrace on the Cullera Beach: beautful, comfortable and innovative. Speciality of the bar are spanish tapas and authentic italian pizzas. Menu of the day and group menus.
Cullera has no places that make you feel "at home". Whether you find classic touristic places or too-snob restaurants (not many of this last kind, either). La Turquesita is a nice balance among charm, service, food and price. Don't forget to make a soon reservation, business is at its start and it might be a bit slow on service. Congratulations to the owners.
