Things to do in Requena

I would recommend everything we ate here! We started with 2 appetizers: Saquitos de queso de cabra and cachulà (we had no clue what this was before but if you like ajos tiernos you MUST try it). We liked that they serve most of their appetizers in half or whole orders as it gives you the option to try more things without being stuffed. My husband ordered gazpacho manchego and I had potaje con espinacas. Everything was better than we expected! We will definitely go back when we return to Requena.

We stopped here for a quick lunch on our way for València. We took menú del dÃa. On the neighbor table the locals had patatas bravas, big valencian salad and calamares ala romane. They looked even happier.Good value for money in a âboringâ town known for good wine.Gracias por su valoración tan positiva...

This is a small fairly basic hotel with no restaurant, but breakfast - while limited - was OK. Good value, in old Requena, and only a short walk to the town for restaurants and shops.Dear sir, I think you are wrong because our restaurant is open for dinner from 20.00 to 22,30 all the week, less Sunday. Our breakfast we think is not limited for 8⬠per person. Iberic meat, cheese and jam, natural orenge juice, black expersso coffee, a lot of kind of teas, olive oil, fresh bread and fresh croissants,... all the quantity you want...Please, be carefull with your words in these areas, like TripAdvisor, Booking or everywhere you write beacause your wrong words make a confuse idea of our place. That is not honest.

Road inns in Spain used to be one step above rough mannered American greasy spoon stops. The Posada de Agueda is the exception and an example of the upward trend of standard restaurants in the peninsula. Here traditional dishes have been upgraded in quality and presentation in a very pleasing restaurant setting with friendly and courteous service. The location used to be in the main national road but the construction of the autovia has bypassed this by just a few kilometers detour and a couple of minutes from the routine rather boring drive through flat La Mancha. The well appointed restaurant has windows overlooking the fields and is very restful. The beans with partridge and the mushroom cannelloni were exquisite and the gorgonzola salad with nuts and pears a very refreshing version of a mixed green salad. The pricing was excellent and the parking available by the door. Overall a very worthwhile stopover where there are not many quality choices.

Restaurant in the center city of Requena. We have a wide variety Of dishes as menu. Salads, rice, meet, fish and much more. COME TO JOIN US !!
I went to a tourism meeting and the organization booked table for 20 people. Really nice decoration, the food fantastic and the beverages of good quality. Of course the wines were from Requena-Utiel vineyards. I liked because they offered a really nice mixture between modern aspect, avantgarde place and traditional cuisine. The salat was delicious and the rice as well. What to say about desserts? Ice-cream, I could eat the whole table. And not to forget in the centre of the city, near the Old Town. Congratulations!

Four of us dined outside on a June evening and were pleased this restaurant is on the cool side of the square, very quiet surroundings, good service, decent steaks, but probably lacking a bit of finesse, not much competition up here so youâve got to do it
Cocina de mercado, tapas tradicionales y unos riquÃsimos arroces meloso para llevar o disfrutarlos el La Gloria
Extraordinario. Exquisitos chipirones y pulpo. Atún rojo y ensalada de pimientos, pulpo y queso de cabra magnÃficos e inolvidable tarta de queso manchego y flan de naranja. Para volver en cuanto podamos.
