The texture, taste and quality of the tapas are on another level. Every dish was a best in class and it was impossible to fault the restaurant, the service was attentive but not encroaching, the pricing was very reasonable considering the food here outshines other restaurants in the city that charge twice as much. If there was something I could take back from Valencia it would be this restaurant. A must.

My wife and I had a beautiful lunch here and had the fixed price â¬18 per person menu. This gave us 3 beautifully presented and delicious small tapas each and one main course each. All dishes looked and tasted beautiful. Service was first class, very friendly welcoming and efficient in a nice relaxed atmosphere. We booked a table at this restaurant after having read the reviews about it. We had quite a bit of adventurous journey there because we took the wrong bus, so we had to tackle a few kms on foot. We were getting a bit worried as we had to cross some railway lines as the neigbourhood did not seem appropriate for a top restaurant. However, once we sat at our table, everything was just right again. It is a very small restaurant with a few tables only but the atmosphere is quite nice. Seems to be a family business, one cook and a waitress. We are not used to Spanish dinner times, so we were the first ones there. It was not a problem, however, we were just as well served as others coming in later. By the end of the night the place got packed and service got a little bit slower but it is understandable and was not disturbing.Now to the food. They only have a set menu for all which is the creation of the chef for that day. We received a salad as a starter, then we got cod with a chorizo sauce, then pork with very delicious potatoes and a chees plate to finish with. We also tried some desserts.Everything was prepared with full of flavours but still the dishes were not overcomplicated. You also get plenty of bread to compliment your meal.We have chosen the accompanying wine selection by the glass. We especially enjoyed the red wines - we are quite big fans of tempranillo.I would recommend to try this nice little restaurant if you are not choosy in what you eat and would like to try something different.

Breakfast - they have a menu that includes 3 small courses with juice and a coffee for 10 euros which was delicious. The coffee is some of the best I have tasted. They are very friendly - we were served by the owners themselves who were delightful. A must visit in Valencia.

Only open Fri,Sat and Sun we came for Fri lunch. At under â¬10 per person for a 3 course lunch the value is incredible. The food was lovely. The warm calamari salad was a stand out with a smokey taste. The seafood paella was full of fish. Great bottle of wine for â¬12 complimented the meal. Filled up quickly after opening. Very cold and air conditioned. Lovely atmosphere. The only bad thing was the cafe con leche which was more warm milk with a dash of coffee.

The food in this place is really memorable. The lady who served us was from Sardinia and there were Sardinian influences in the food. The wine selection was great and everything at reasonable prices. This is a very friendly restaurant serving delicious tapas and other meals, both traditional dishes and many other more unusual tasty things to try. Everything is made from high quality ingredients, and there are some fine wines to go with your meal. The restaurant has a very pleasant ambience and the manager and staff are all very charming, helpful and friendly. Although it's typically Spanish, the manager speaks English quite well.Chrissie M
