The day we were there, the restaurant was very busy because I believe a tour bus was there since much of the crowd left at the same time. We were immediately seated and given menus. Menus were only available in Italian or German, but knowing a little of each language, we managed to figure out what was on offer. My husband had goulash with polenta and I had pasta. Both were homemade, hot and fresh and nicely presented. Both were about eight euros. They have a bar, but we only ordered mineral water. When we went to pay the bill, we found they only take cash. My husband stayed while I went to the nearest ATM to get some euros. While he was waiting for me to return, the proprietor kindly treated him to a glass of limoncello.

We arrived for dinner after ordering we waited 45 minutes for first course whuch was served one by one. Them seconds came and they left our the polenta on the meal and salad arrived after mains were completed. God was great but something is not right in the kitchen.

Bar ristorante-pizzeria carino nella via Roma la principale di Tarvisio, arredato con gusto, bagni puliti, giardinetto interno , servizio veloce e personale molto cortese , specialmente la signora Claudia che si è prodigata in spiegazioni sul menu consigliandoci per il meglio.La pizza è veramente speciale con una selezione di farine particolare e lenta lievitazione, ma anche la cucina è molto buona, cucinano anche il pesce e devo dire molto bene, prezzi in linea con locali della categoria.Consiglio sicuramente

We taste pizza prosciutto and fish plate - they were excellent. The service is not fastest but it wasn't problem for us.Great place for a dinner.

Il Restaurantino near Tarvisoi is one of mine favourite restaurants. When going for dinner, I find the service really friendly and knowledgeable, the food memorable, the wine selection interesting, and the drinks tasty. The sea food is unforgetable and you will discover that it's always fresh. My absoulite favourite are the gnocci with scami - you have to try them!

Almost a year ago I was positively surprised by their cuisine, so I decided to bring my friends and give it a try once again. No change, stil fresh with perfect presentation and wonderful taste. Out of 10 people and more than dosen of dishes only La Pancia was not rated high, all others were really good. Nice service, english speaking, great chief cook - only room for improvement is lack of english menu, some guest might not feel comfy with italian nad german only - but waitress was willing to help - it's definetely worth to get out of the highway before entering Austria and it's cuisine to have something tasty :-)thank s dear Mister Marek for the nice review!about the menu....i know...could be better to have one also in english...but 90% of our clients are Austrian , when the customers need...will be my pleasure to translate it for sure!about your visit...Mister Marek...i wait for you next year!!!!do not forget to stop at l'Altro Gusto Tarvisio!!!thank s again Francesco

Visited the restaurant based on high reviews and recommendations in local foodie magazines and all I can say is that we were extremely happy with the experience. Had a simple combination of raw seafood starters and pasta/risotto main dishes and an excellent bottle of wine after a short consultation with the chef and owner Ilija. Some of the best dishes of their kind we have ever had. Obviously extremely high quality and fresh ingredients, precisely prepared with a subtle individual twist from the chef and meticolous presentation! A real treat!
