Yes, thank you reviewers from the TripAdvisor community. You were right in every aspect. Exactly 2 kilometers from the Austrian-Italian border on the SS13 is a small insignificant road to the right, leading up a small hillock next to the SS 13, where Pensione Ristorante Ex Posta is situated. There is ample parking space in front of the building. Ristorante Ex Posta is closed on Sunday evening and Wednesday the whole day according to a message on the door. Entering the premises, the restaurant is to the right;access is through the Italian bar with the bottles and the coffee machine. The restaurant is small, only 5 tables. The menu is limited, only two pages for Antipasti, Primi, Secondi and Dolce, but boy, what Ex Posta prepares is delicious. My Antipasto, porchetta with rucola was home made and so delicate of taste, delicious. This was followed by a tipical Friulan dish, sausages with polenta. also delicious. The dessert was a small portion creme brulee, called on the menu Crema Catalana. I must say, this creme brulee was so good, it approached in quality and taste the best creme brulee in the world, at Privilege Restaurant on Langkawi. To clinch the 5 points rating, the espresso was perfect in a pre-heated cup. The service at Ex Posta is professional, friendly and dedicated. What more could you wish.

Here you can taste real Italy! Delicious food, nicely served with Heavenly tastes! Great breakfast we had, for lunch we had a reach selection of Italian delicacies, and for evening....the Dinner...was Heaven on Earth! Beside international dishes, we could choose of the variety of gorgeous Italian food. All these were accompanied by the friendliness and professionalism of the staff working, the ladies at reception, and in the restaurant, in the bar, and of course those behind the curtains, as well as the sommelier we had for the evening, professional, offering all the time the perfect wine for the our dinner choice. Thank you Edelhof!

Best in town gluten free pizza. Varius kind of pizza and other restaurant dishes.A small place with inside and outside tables. Quick and kind service. Prices in line with the market but with some cheap dishes (pizza margherita euro 5,00). Best booking in advance or at least check for a free table because the place is very well known. Easy to find and to reach by car.

Anytime breakfast, lunch or snack. We are furnished in the traditional mountain wood style but with a modern touch. If you need to pick up a gift there is a great selction of wines and local food products as well as some craft work such as christmas decor
Dawit has become our standard lunch stopover on the way to/from Austria. The snack plate is delicious, includes various pickled items, meats, sweet-spicy jams, cheeses and breads. The jams and the creamy blue cheese spread are highlights. Their seasonal desserts are amazing, there's wine and espresso, and friendly staff. What more could you ask for? Many thanks for your friendly review. We are happy that you have enjoyed our company and our culinary tastes, including our "creamy blue cheese" which we are very proud of!. ;)We hope to see you again soon. All the best from all our team!Sales Manager Benvenuta Plazzotta

Visited the restaurant based on high reviews and recommendations in local foodie magazines and all I can say is that we were extremely happy with the experience. Had a simple combination of raw seafood starters and pasta/risotto main dishes and an excellent bottle of wine after a short consultation with the chef and owner Ilija. Some of the best dishes of their kind we have ever had. Obviously extremely high quality and fresh ingredients, precisely prepared with a subtle individual twist from the chef and meticolous presentation! A real treat!
The Montana Restaurant is a smaller restaurant with French service. Its ample selection of cuisine and wine, excellent service and pleasant ambience attract mostly guests with exquisite taste. Here you can devote yourself to your company and enjoy the spl
Had dinner here one of the nights we stayed in Kranjska Gora. Absolutely great place to eat. Amazing prices given the quality of the food and outstanding service. It is in the Korona casino, and on weekends you will probably need to book, but do get yourself here at least once in your stay.Dear Mishy77!Thank you for choosing restaurant Montana and for sharing your experience. Best regards!Karin ÄemažarMarketing

What unites us is the love of good food. Due to our unique location, we came to realize that in addition to Slovenian specialties, we can also offer our guests specialties from the Austrian and Italian cuisine. While enjoying Slovenian food and wine you w
Hotel à la carte restaurant with high aspirations. Made its name during realm of a previous chef, was then somewhat lost, but impeccable again during my visit. Modern design, simplistic, even slightly sterile, yet quite fancy. Definitely enough space for relaxed dining, comfortable upholstered chairs. Parking in front easy. Great view over the nearby Alps from window tables and summer terrace.Service notably friendly, helpful and efficient. More than 70 labels on the wine list, mostly Slovenian, well chosen and with moderate markups considering restaurant status. Extremely short no-nonsense menu, the kind I so like to see. All dishes served were delighful, perfectionist and quite creative. »Egg« is phenomenal, so is »Trout«, both served with fresh truffles. I can easily award kitchen with 15+ on my own 1-20 scale.Sadly, I can not heartily recommend the place for foreseeable future, as the well reputed Dalmatian chef was only there on a three months' contract, so it is hard to predict the future food quality. I keep my fingers crossed, though.
